Torquay United’s preparations for 2024/25 continue apace, with the announcement that The Gulls will face Tiverton Town on Saturday, 3rd August (3pm KO). Following on from the news that Torquay will be taking on Buckland Athletic (away) on Friday 12th July (7.30pm KO) and Exeter City (home) on Tuesday 30th July (7.30pm KO) as part of their warm-up campaign for the new season, United have now confirmed that a trip to Ladysmead will also be on the agenda. Southern League Premier side Tiverton are renowned for offering pre-season visitors to Mid Devon a competitive encounter, with Torquay’s last trip coming three years ago, as The Gulls ran out 3-1 winners. Having finished their last campaign in 14th position, Leigh Robinson’s men will no doubt be looking to build on that performance next time out.
