Bromley match postponed

Post by standupsitdown »

Bromley home game 14th December has been postponed, presumably due to a possible clash with England World Cup quarter final.

Not suprising it has been postponed, as i said before why the hell would they organise a game when the World Cup Semi Finals are on, even if England don't get through..........the attendance would have been horrendous.

Not so. The match was originally scheduled for the Tuesday but was put back to the Wednesday because Torquay have a televised game the previous Sunday. Now Bromley have requested the postponement because they have an away game in the FA Trophy the following Saturday and didn't fancy two away trips in four days.

Surprised the National League agreed to this, if as said Bromley didn't fancy travelling here on the Wednesday as they have an away Trophy game on Saturday!
So what , they are only going along the M4 to Bath ! Think we could have done with playing this and trying to get 3 points instead of falling further adrift with everyone else playing. Maybe the semi final affecting the gate was a factor on our agreeing if that's what we did.
