TUFC Club Lottery launched

Not sure if everyone on here has already seen but the club have launched a monthly club lottery as it looks to maximise revenue streams whilst offering chance for fans to win a cash prize and several other Runner up prizes each month!

Tenner a month, with a chance to win over £1k each month, not bad at all, I’ve signed up, have you?

Yes, did it. Whats a tenner these days, pint and a packet of crisps. The current pot is £1100+ which is ,maybe £2.5k to the club every month. Thats a half decent player and you might win a grand in the process.

What is clear though with these fund raising schemes (share issue) is that there are alot of people willing to fund various activities now that the club is owned by fans and there is transparency in that ownership. I wouldnt have done it before this season.

Think i heard in previous chairmans chats there was some sort of membership scheme in the running for next season. Will probably do that too.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think there is any link to the 1899 Club (lotto) from the club’s website.

Thanks, I did find that and have entered. Be better to have a clear/permanent link from the website rather than trawling through news from 2 months ago that new users wouldn’t know is there.

Did anyone else get Mansfield Town on the bank statement when signing up for the 1899 lottery??

It's a little disconcerting...

That’ll be because the bank you bank with has misunderstood the payment as a relationship to Mansfield town, likely because one of the first clubs to do the club lotto would have been Mansfield. That’s a bank specific reference as opposed to a club lotto reference as you can see it states Torquay in the club lotto ref, it’s happened to a few people I think, I imagine all of those it’s happened to bank with the same bank.
