Yep that's the name I saw revealed on another website, I should imagine the paper have their speculation from the same place.

Personally I just wonder, should Mr Breed et al be successful in buying the club whether their first act as owners might be to issue a banning order to a certain poster on here?

Passionate you mean?

If so, let's hope - we could do with some passionate Directors!!

Stevie is certainly passionate about all things TUFC. I would be more than happy to see him involved.

Unfortunately, 'passion' is only one of a number of things needed. If we've reached the stage that individual supporters are expressing an interest, desperate doesn't begin to cover it.

Passionate maybe .. but would the rest of the board understand as his voice reaches the higher octaves, and would the glazing cope!! I guess he would be on the same pitch level as you Mr Brehaut (in the choir)!!

But then we have the Brummie undertaker to bring them all back down to earth!

It's my understanding that he is part of a consortium of like minded individuals.

What wannabe football commentators?

Added in 3 minutes 17 seconds:
Looking on the bright side we don't appear to be the only Devon club in financial difficulties as our neighbours Plymouth Argyle failed to show up for their play off match last night

It's not the breakdown in negotiations over the takeover that I'm aggrieved about, though that is bad enough, what really has annoyed me from the start is the total lack of communication from the club. Absolutely nothing has been posted on the official website since the 15th April regarding club ownership. We have been left to guess what is happening at our club with the occasional tweet or rumour circulated on here providing some clue of what is going on. I appreciate that the club might not have had much to report on the negotiations in the last month but even so, just a post on the website saying that things were ongoing and all parties were working towards a conclusion would have been something, rather than leaving us in the dark.

Like many on here I thought the recruitment of Kelvin Thomas would be welcome addition and would help to steady the ship somewhat. His interviews posted on the official site provided a much needed insight into what plans there were for the club's future. Then any communication from him dried up and we have heard nothing over the last couple of months. According to the Herald Express podcast released today, Thomas is back in Florida. I hope to be proven wrong but I get the feeling that he is not the white knight we were hoping for.

Dark and uncertain times indeed. And things could get darker still.
