New Season / New songs please

Post by goodluckgull »

Please can all you clever people think of some new songs and post them on this thread soon. We really lacked in the vocals today, but now we know who our players are this season we need to come up with songs for the new players fast.........

Pretty simple one but 'Hawley' to the tune of Amazing Grace for when he is warming up? I'll get me coat and try to think of some later on this eve.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Bloody hell! Going on my Hawley chant above I wouldn't bet on it!

Totally agree we need some new songs and fast so I can sing them at Morecambe next Saturday. I think the yellow army needs to get our collective heads together and come up with something.

My first suggestion ( to my own thread) is to the tune of Status Quo's "Get Down". Actually I'm not sure it's called that, but you know the one.

Loving those Cornish! Some superb ones in there. Leave the Tonge one out and i'd be happy chanting that lot. :)

Fewl free to try and get some of them going Andy. I'll be qt the Oxford game but expect I'll be in the bench with my old man so won't have any success. Otherwise we'll be stuck with the usual "Theres only one ......."

I love the "Hawley" song Kernowgull. Really hope the "yellow army" chant that one.
I thought this familiar song might be good for Courts.

"He plays on the left, he plays on the right
That boy Courtney makes Gareth look shite"

The away support at Sixfields was great. Time for our home support to step it up. More drumming please.....This is my song for Chaps to the tune of Blondie's "One way or Another"

Jordan Chappell is a winger, a winger, winger, winger,
Jordan Chappell is a Winner , a Winner
He scores goals just for fun
see how fast he can run.......

We've sung the Hawley Hawley Hawley song but we've nothing else really. The Chappell one is generic and embarrassing and Harding, Ball, Tonge and Cameron don't have one either. We need to get our heads together to come up with something, I don't mind singing them if others will too.
