Tonight is probably our 4th most difficult away match left after Dover Bromley and Gateshead.
Would take a a draw now.
Our home form is even more important
if we can win at home
v
Kidde
Halifax
Southport
Altringham
Chester
and pick up 3 points from all other games up to 16th April we will hopefully be able get by with good results from our last 2 matches at
H Barrow
A Guisely
getting us through to survival.

This isn't a difficult game at all. Macclesfield are in terrible form. They are basically a bog average side, like most other in this league and definitely beatable. "Taking a draw" is utter nonsense as is saying "this is the 4th most difficult away match".

In our position we have to win again. The Bognor Regis game is irrelevant. We beat them a couple of weeks ago with Andre Wright as the sole striker. He caused them problems that night. This time he will likely be on the bench. Odds on that Nico will revert to the team that beat Welling. Hopefully Allen will be fit as well so with Wright and Allen in reserve we will have some definite options and that hasn't happened very often.

There is every reason to think that we have a big chance of a result tonight.

Thanks Kit-robin , Angus has had so many yellow cards, wasn't sure had a feeling he was close to another suspension, like many think I'd lost count.

As for the game, yep agree with Brucie, we as fans shouldn't read anything into the Bognor game, few cup-tied players didn't play, so the base of the team that played Saturday was different, and tonight no, no way we should be looking to draw the game, so it's not about taking a draw, however if the team drew the game tonight, that would not be the end of the world.

The confusion with Angus probably didn't help with saturdays hopeless commentator stating that it was his 10th yellow and therefore suspended.

No Allen in the squad. Wonder why that is?

Added in 3 minutes 38 seconds:
21Lavercombe
29Berry
3Butler
5MacDonald
18Smith
10Racchi
14Ajala
16Richards
12Harrad
4Rees
17Blissett
Substitutes
1Fisher
19Chaney
22Gerring
25Verma
28Wright

Sky Sports reporting a 4141 formation, however I presume that's a 4132 with Racchi in the holding role as cover.

Allen picked up a knock on Saturday. Nicholson is not in the squad either.

Our goal difference is beginning to look competitive among the bottom five.
