Theres plenty of ways to make money out of football. The current board are just yet to figure it out but will need to when crowds of more than 1800 are needed to break even something which is inevitible later this season.

But we are not!

TUFC are not currently a BIG club ... they are a club struggling for their life in the National League - currently in 22nd place playing a team currently in 5th place!!!

If Dover are minnows that must make us mere plankton!

Hopefully it's just me that thinks Yells is a sorry piece of crap who is seemingly enjoying the prospect of us struggling. Now as he's clearly not a fan of the club and offers nothing constructive to any football related discussion I fail to see what benefit there is to his membership of this forum. He's also excruciatingly boring too..........

Its like a cliquey old boys club on here. Say anything against the board or current admin and your a trouble causer or property developer. Its that sort of attiude whats coost this club most of its problems.

I think the real fans and board are trying to pull together and doing the best they can to get us out of this mess. How is that cooooooosting the club anything.

1200 tonight would say otherwise. The best thing the board could and should do at the minute to improve attendances is cut prices and attack every local school to get kids and parents in. They should organise a fun day and get tons of activities outside the ground to make it a family day centred about a match. Thats just one easy idea what wouldnt hurt.

Actually not such a bad idea. We could get Steve Breed to dress up as Humpty Dumpy. Fabian Speiss could wear his goalkeeping kit and put on a red nose. That should make the kids laugh.
Uncle Dean Edwards could play a headless chicken. Grandad Phillips could be the Grand Old Duke of Dork.
Thea Bristow could play Old Mother Hubbard.
Bill (Phillips) and Ben (Baker) could go in the stocks and the kids could throw fifty pence pieces at them.
And if the Kids don't behave then they could be made to watch the football afterwards. Perfick. :O :O

This season is 15 games in so being 5th position means near on nothing at all! We may be struggling now but we have so much more history and are historically a much bigger club. To us they should be minnows. Have some bloody ambition and passion instead of resigning to being a smaller club than Dover Athletic!
