Chesterfield v Torquay United, 7.45pm, Tuesday 18th April 2023.

Staying up is still a possibility but it’s looking increasingly difficult.

Yeovil down.

Dorking and Gateshead now mathematically safe, with Aldershot almost clear.

Maidenhead and York are the ones to watch.

Can we overturn Altrincham and Wrexham?!

Chesterfield v Torquay United, 7.45pm, Tuesday 18th April 2023.

Many of the teams across the breadth of table have a looked much of muchness with only a few exceptions, but the gulf in ability and tactics tonight has been significant.

Chesterfield v Torquay United, 7.45pm, Tuesday 18th April 2023.

3-0

This is not going well.

Chesterfield practically walking it in now.

Shows what influence Asa has on the drive and organisation of the team

Will we stay up?

Gateshead just smashed Eastleigh away 5-2! I guess they are pretty much safe now? How have they turned things around so drastically?

Boreham Wood vs Torquay United - Tues 28th March 2023

Phew!!

Excellent goal all round from Hall, then the team made it look difficult in the second half but delighted to take the 3 points!!

Up one place but wins for Dorking and Gateshead make the race for survival all the more tricky

Boreham Wood vs Torquay United - Tues 28th March 2023

I genuinely don’t think we’ve strung more than one pass together in the 2nd half…

It’s actually embarrassing

Boreham Wood vs Torquay United - Tues 28th March 2023

I hate to be pessimistic but watching on National League TV I feel very nervous about holding on to this lead.

This is where we have to push on and build

Torquay v Wrexham Tickets

I say cash in - we will likely have 2000 tops at the game unless there is a chance of survival so why not let Wrexham have some fun and make some £££££ that could help us next season

Torquay v Dagenham & Redbridge 25th March 2023

Match highlights https://youtu.be/pW8m0ZvhI18 Stibbs looked dangerous in the highlights, midfield in transition looked non existent and defence were all over the place. I wasn’t at the game so not in a position to comment, but the latter has become symbolic of what I have seen this season. Not sure ...

Torquay v Dagenham & Redbridge 25th March 2023

We just have to keep going.

Tips
- Start Nouble
- Drop the same players who make the SAME mistakes every week
- Play the ball on the ground
- Press further up the field
- Mark players during set pieces
- Attack.

Any more?

Gateshead v Torquay United - 18th March 2023

I’ve just watched the ‘highlights’ and we made Gateshead look good, can anyone who attendee confirm whether this was generally the case? It was clear we were prone to concede from distance based on the early encounters. It’s so disappointing to watch! At this point, despite being vocal in my critici...

New Signing Jack Stobbs On loan

I predict he’ll start on the bench and come on as a full back.

I hope I’m proven wrong

Torquay United v Wealdstone - 11th March

The Corrie Andrews we saw today was lean and quick. Certainly looked a much better player than he did for us. Didn’t end well though for him after getting hurt by Halstead kicking the ball at him. “Lean and quick” speaks volumes about the management of our club. It was evident he had ability, has w...

Gary Johnson, stick or twist?

Do you think GJ will stay if we are relegated? If it’s looking increasingly unlikely that we’ll avoid the drop and the manager leaves / will not be retained then why not cut the losses now and give someone else a shot?
