good the weather is looking nice for today I was just concerned with amount of rain that had fallen and didnt want to make a wasted journey, or shall I hold my horses?

The pitch was a little bumpy, but in terms of waterlogging, looked fantastic today. It could pass for a pitch in August.

The area in front of the Bench cut up very easily and was pretty wet. You could tell by the way players were regularly slipping. Cant fault the groundstaff though cos theres been a hell of a lot of rain on it recently.
