I'll be at Newport on Saturday and happily to say with a drum! (Yes I can play the drum ) so we need the singers rocking!!
I'm not sure of any information of where we will be situated on Saturday, but I know that Newport have seating and standing. Do we the singers go in the seating for the atmosphere as it is covered? Or the standing?
I would personally say the seating because of the roof and will create a better atmosphere, especially with the drum. But need to know where the singers are heading! (Of course if only the seating is open then this is a pointless thread).
Hi Newport guest here if you want to make some noise I recommend the bisley stand. the away area behind the goal although seated area is to open even when full the noise level is low. enjot the game it will be partisan as the Newport supporters behind the dug outs generally get behind the team. watch out for David pipes traditional taking his top off at the end of the game. he does like his tattoos and well cut body. still he does give us 100%

If only I could get there i'd have fetched my Harp.
Typical Danny! An away game I can't get to and there will be millions of singers, a drum, some bouncing and some other stuff and I won't be able to get involved!
Can't you all get to Scunny in a few weeks time?
Or Wycombe? I'll be at Wycombe complete with 'close proximity to M25 involuntary nosebleed'. Get everyone to Wycombe and i'll be in there my good man!
(I'm actually working on getting to Newport as we speak but it doesn't look promising at the minute - updates later like you're bothered anyway! )
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
thats awesome danny. ive forgotten what drums sound like! im really up for making some noise, and imagine newport fans will be pretty loud. reckon we take their advice and get the singers on the back steps of the bisley stand. it looks pretty steep, has a better view and should hopefully get everyone in front going, á la northampton. also means most of our fans would be together, i think otherwise there would only be 20 or so of us singing behind the goal, with the rest silent. at pitch level the noise wouldnt carry as well, and we wouldnt really be seen by our players walking out. i cant wait!
Won't be going sadly so sorry for letting the singers down. As Arnie would say though, at Wycombe 'I'LL BE BACK!'.
Make some noise for me you lot!

I would say go in the stand with cover, but sadly, most of the singers have bought tickets already and haven't bought tickets for the Bisley Stand. I will be wherever they go.
the usual shambles. Fair enough though danny. il see how the weather looks there and make a decision, but its forecast to rain through the whole game, and if thats the case then il take the stand with a roof and a bar.
If it does turn out to be a good loud atmosphere could someone record it and put it on youtube or whatever! love watching some videos when I can't make the games!

I wish someone would do this when there are 6 of us singing at some northern dump. I doubt it would make good viewing though but still infinitely more entertaining than watching Saturday night telly. =D

Well exactly, spend my Saturday evenings mostly just moaning about how close my accumulators were now!
