League 1 play off semi

Oh for it to be Torquay one day doing what Yeovil are doing.

Still, good things are coming next season, I can feel it in my bones.

Some of you tried to help me out to get to the barnet game, I couldn't make it in the end, but I did get to the rovers game and what a great game it was. It had everything, big crowd, bad referee, goals galore, missed penalty, penalties not given, away fans in the home end (best ignored as attention is all they want) and topped of with the the comedic deadman making a run for it down the tunnel.

Let's hope it's Yeovil and Bees in the final :-D

Incidentally, I'd love to watch the game today but Sky want a tenner for a day pass, robbin' gits. Can't quite remember how I watched our game on Sky so would be everso, everso grateful if any one could send me a pm to remind me..

Well done to Yeovil. I was hoping that Brentford would get to the final too. Both Yeovil and Brentford are proper football clubs, well run with no history of financial nonsense. Swindon, on the other hand, a club that goes into administration for a pastime. I hope Brentford make it, fully expecting Swindon to go into administration if they fail to make the final.

Good luck to Yeovil in the final. Nothing against Brentford, but would sooner it was a team from the south west.

Umm, I thought we didn't like brentford, based on what happened to john uzzel back in the early 90's?

I don't think anybody blamed Brentford the club for what Gary Blissett the player did. I like Brentford as a club, a lovely ground, good humoured fans and a pleasant place to go for an away game. Much prefer Brentford to AFC Administration from Swindon.

I <3 Gullintwoplaces ^.^

Diamondgirl - see you outside without your jacket on, grrr!

WestLondonYellow - Brentford are the best team outside of Torbay. I do hope you're not a secret Fulham fan :O

Come on fellow Gulls, think of the long connection between us and Bees (perhaps let's not remember Messrs Buckle and Lee). On the day, wear red and white stripes (oooh, maybe not, eh?) and sing out for my wonderful Bees boys :~D

Yeah, recently watched The Big Match Revisited programme featuring Bees v Hornets from 1979. Pat Kruse featured as did "dog bite" Jim McNichol.

Enough has been written about recent to Plainmoor guest Jim. How many remember Kruse (when at Plainmoor in a TUFC shirt) scored the fastest own goal on record?

Forgot to mention Danis Salman played in the same match as did goalkeeper Len Bond, although goalkeeper Bond only made a couple of appearances for TUFC as a loanee from Bristol City.
