Can’t believe it!
Quiet disappointed in Sutton to be honest.
Notts County played better with ten men lol
It’s going to interesting now that’s brought Stockport right into the mix!

What a difference that result makes. It’s in our hands!!!!

We have to lose two games for Stockport or Hartlepool to catch us.
We are four points ahead of Sutton but they have one game in hand. Their goal difference the same as ours.
These are the two sets of fixtures.

Sutton – 72 points

Weymouth H 8th May
Woking H 11th May
Maidenhead A 15th May
Hartlepool H 22nd May
Barnet A 29th May

Torquay – 76 points

Bromley H 8th May
Stockport A 15th May
Barnet H 22nd May
Altringham A 29th May

If we win all our games (88 points) we will win the league.
If we draw one (86 points) and win the rest we will win the league.
If we lose one (85 points) Sutton have to win all theirs and it’s down to goal difference.
If we lose one and draw one (83 points) Sutton can afford to draw one and it’s down to goal difference.
Any worse than that and we allow Stockport & Hartlepool back into it.

We must be favourites again now.

If we win the next three and Sutton drop a point in their next four, we could clinch it against Barnet.

I hope it doesn’t end up as a shoot out in the last game to see who can get the best goal difference.

With form slipping and losing to a late goal against ten men, Sutton seem to have lost crucial momentum just as we’ve picked ours up.

Not quite as Sutton can still get to 87pts. We need to win every game to be assured of the title, even 1 draw will take it out of our hands

With Sutton playing Hartlepool the same day we play Barnet at home could that just be the game we clinch it, with fans there?
Think in one interview with Gary Johnson he mentioned that, and who, at the moment, would doubt his word!!

Oh yes, failed maths there. I'll modify it.

First thing we have to do is beat Bromley on Saturday and that won’t be easy as they too are scrapping for a playoff place.

In fairness, so we’re Wrexham, Notts County, Sutton, Chestefield, and Eastleigh. Only dropped 2 points to all of them. I am confident we will do well and others will drop points. Still think Sutton will drop points against Maidenhead and Hartlepool.

Best team defo won.
Sutton didn't know what to do when Notts went down to 10 men.

Not me! I'm very satisfied with the Sutton performance. :scarf:

Stockport would need to beat us and hope that we drop points in another game (their goal difference is better than us so presumably it'll stay that way).

Corrected -

We have to lose two games for Stockport or Hartlepool to catch us.
We are four points ahead of Sutton but they have one game in hand. Their goal difference is the same as ours.
These are the two sets of fixtures.

Sutton – 72 points

Weymouth H 8th May
Woking H 11th May
Maidenhead A 15th May
Hartlepool H 22nd May
Barnet A 29th May

Torquay – 76 points

Bromley H 8th May
Stockport A 15th May
Barnet H 22nd May
Altringham A 29th May

If we win all our games (88 points) we will win the league.
If we draw one (86 points) Sutton have to win all their games or we will win the league.
If we lose one (85 points) Sutton will win the league if they win all theirs, or if they draw one it’s down to goal difference.
If we lose one and draw one (83 points) Sutton can afford to lose.
Any worse than that and we allow Stockport & Hartlepool back into it.
If we win the next three and Sutton drop four points in their next four, we could clinch it against Barnet.

Evening all

Big Notts fan but always followed Torquay as my parents live in Babbacombe for half the year and been to a few games over the years.

As Notts can't go direct I am now wanting you boys to win the league, great for the club and great for the area.

Glad we helped you out today

This is how I see the next 3 weeks starting on Saturday 8 May.

In our Favour
On 11 May Stockport are Home To Dagenham. The Daggers have won 5 on the bounce and Top the Form Table based on the last 5 Games. Stockport are our main danger IMHO. However look at their Home Record. They have only won 8 out of 18.

Sutton visit Maidenhead on 15 May which will be their 5th Game in 15 Days.Sutton are Part Time. They have taken 9 points from the last 15. Will they last the pace?

On 22nd May Hartlepool play Sutton at Home and I think Hartlepool will win that one. Great Home Record.

Against Us.

The next 2 Games are huge. Bromley have taken 12 from the last 15 and will be a big test. Michael Cheek is the Top Scorer with 22 goals in this League.

Stockport away is very tough but I feel we can battle out a Draw.

I feel 2 wins and 2 draws could be good enough giving us 84 points. Remember if Stockport win all 4 they only get to 83.

It is mighty close and very exciting but I think we must currently be favourites.
