Imagine it's more to do with the fact that he has a trial hearing coming up for an assault charge from last summer. If it weren't for that he'd probably still be on Bristol City's books. Was on trial (the better kind) with Newport in the summer along with CLE with a possible loan move lined up.

Ruairi Keating did indeed score a 70th minute winner. The heed up to 7th.

Agreed, always thought he was one of our better CBs when fit

The late Justin Fashanu to be honoured. A figure that we will no doubt polarise opinion but there`s no denying that in his prime the lad could play. Past his best when he played for us 1991-93, 15 goals in 41 appearances. Met with a tragic and premature end.

Nice piece about him here and his niece was on BBC Breakfast this morning and will be picking up the award for his induction into the Hall of Fame at the National Football Museum.
There will also be some of his memorabilia displayed there - but no Torquay United shirt...
However, I will be contacting the Museum in due course to offer my 1991 shirt for them to lend and display.

Jean-Yves Koué Niate has signed for Spanish club Águilas FC. The Frenchman signed for Aldershot Shots at the end of January following his stint at Torquay United. He now makes the move to join the Murcian club, who last season played in the Tercera División Group 13. Águilas are a fourth-tier club in Spanish football.
