Its a pain in the arse for you Bixie as well as all the Carlisle fans but if you are a County fan who travelled to Brunton Park today it must be amazing to be three nil up away on opening day. I wonder if any Gulls can recall any season that has happened to us when we have gone away from home on the 1st day and battered someone. ( another team i mean, not an opposing fan or random unprovoked attack on an innocent stranger! ).
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

It wasn't a 3-0 win, but I remember winning 2-1 with a last minute goal away at Shrewsbury about 10 years ago, think Scott Partridge got the winner, and that was an awesome way to start the season.

One of my favourite away days from when I was a kiddie.

I didn't go to that one so it doesn't stick in my memory sadly. I bet that was a magic day. I remember going to my first ever Gulls game away at Northampton in our promotion season under Leroy and we won 1-0 in the sun thanks to a Jason Fowler daisycutter. That was a memorable day for me and one which i'll certainly remember.

Well that certainly makes things difficult. 0-1 Burton, straight through the middle yet again. The curse of calling Richards crap before the game I suppose.

Nightmare start. Hopefully we'll wake up soon. Time for Macklin I think, we need to do something.
