Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

So what is this lack of goals then?

I see that Ellis, Tomlin, Mohamed and Akinfatone all hit the net last night. Always grates a bit that...

Maybe we would do as well to get Eliot B back. I'm sure he would jump at the chance. He was our leading scorer for 2 seasons. The only issue I ever had with him (Apart from getting flagged offside on a regular basis, and falling over) was not the goals that he scored, but the ones that he didn't. He still hit 20+ a season. I think he would work quite well with "The Tank"
Anyone else?

Him and Howe were a brutal partnership for me on Football Manager, 60 goals between them one season!

Yes could see Benners and Howe going well together, and yes Yellow, just imagine Mohamed-Howe-Tomlin-Macklin/Tompson in a 4-4-2, not sure how many holding midfielders you would need with that attack.

The Beeny one and Howe would make a formidable partenrship. Pace and power. One a poacher and one who can very much create something out of nothing. Both sublime finishers on their day.

Go on dinger. Av a punt!
Mmmmmm, beeeeeeeer.

Haha!

Just seen this Bix.

December 25th won't make much difference to me Bix in terms of disappointment. I support Torquay, live in Chesterfield and was born in Doncaster. You CAN'T GET more disappointment than that! :na:
