The most famous Showman of all is off course, oops, OF course, is one Professor Marvel of the Omaha State Fair.

Some simply know the gentleman as the Wizard of OZ.

"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain."

I'm offering 1,000,000 man points (which, for those unfamiliar with man points [and presumably the offside rule] is a lot) for the first correct answer to the question: Name the Aerosmith album and song on which the above line features.

Also, Simon, as you know, I have long suspected you of being dim witted, turns out I'm wrong. The reason you don't punctuate your posts is clearly because half the buttons on your keyboard have melted because, as punishment for building caravans, you're forced to live in Hell!

Eat the rich

Get a grip or pump.

Not got a ticket, won't get to the ground until 2ish and I am certain there'll be plenty of room for me and the grandad.

There we are then, congratulations to RussianGull who collects his 1,000,000 man points. Unfortuantely for him, man point currency fluctuations from English to Russian mean he will only see about 14 of them. Shame.

Possibly the more sensible things Mr Evans has ever said about us?

I was expecting some "we've done the hard part, Torquay will be easier than Derby/Swindon" jobby..

I thought about what follows very carefully. Although there is a Noise thread on the Main Board and a dedicated thread on the Popside for favourite tunes, I've put what follows here. Saturday's match will rival any big game I watched at Plainmoor in the 60's during the Tony Boyce/Frank O'Farrell era. All the tunes that follow were used as the team came out on to the pitch.

The first one is dedicated to AJB and sons Mark and Cris . . .

Another one from Herb . . .

And one that will remind Crawley who the big team near them is . . .

"If we go there and perform as best we can, we will win. If we perform averagely, we'll lose. That's how fine a line it is."

Not true.

If both teams play to their best possible level, we will happily beat them. regardless of the money etc, we carry significantly more goal threat than they do (kepp Tubbs quiet, they're relatively goal shy) and we all know of what feats our back 5 are capable.

They will have to play proportionally better than us to win this tie.

Rotten bit of luck there Michigan.
I'm all sorted - my wife did the grocery shop today so there is nothing for it but a huge pot of tea :engflag: and gull player turned up loud.
Will be wearing my scarf sitting at the pc.
Gulls 3-2 for me - will be a nail biter but the prospect of upwards of 8 prem teams in R5 will spur us all along
Goals from O'kane, Nico and a spectacular match winning og from the Creepy Crawley - it's a while since we've had an og for us. :scarf:  :scarf: :win:

.........................................................................................................................................
Things are getting frantic for Superbowl next weekend - had a (shite) beer at Lambeau on the way back fron Green Bay in the week.
Go Pack Go  :) :) :) :)

:win: :win:
At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!

Oh yeah right, we all believe you. On the way to the match tomorrow,I must stop to pick up a new flux capacitor for my De Lorean. Admit it, you're going to the mall with your wife and kids because if you don't, she'll sue your ass.

The real question is: Do you want cheese with that?

Have a nice day, sir.

Matt. :)
