BBC commentary seems to think Reid got our second. Though their half time highlights certainly suggested Reid laid it across for Janneh to finish. Game over now.

Watching Torquay is so much more entertaining under GJ it's clear by the smiles on the players faces that they thoroughly enjoy playing under him after the dross under owers :scarf:

Winchester were never going to come here and let us climb all over them, it was always going to be down to our team to earn the right to a comfortable win, even though Winchester did compete well for the first 25 minutes or so, our team did earn that right, a thoroughly professional job done.

Fair play to Winchester conceding 3 late second half goals was going to be hard to take, many team would have turned their toes up in the second half, they didn't, they kept trying, and got their reward in a penalty. Truely wish them well for the their future.

It's difficult to talk about our players here, we were expecting to run out clear winners and did, no one player let us down today, the only blot on the copy book was the penalty, well all know there's time to put your foot on it and play out from the back, there's a time to stick your boot through it, MacDonald made a real mess of it, but he's young and learning his trade, so bit harsh to single him out over that, mistakes happen, no damage done.

Just to add, the whole place just feels so different now, happy players, happy fans, the toxic atmosphere well and truely gone.

FA cup wins involving Torquay United are like London Buses - you wait 5 years and then 3 come along one after the other!

Great first half, game killed off by half time. Credit to Winchester for keeping going in second half. I thought Opi did really well, he works so hard. Also, Cameron looks class at this level. I would get him signed up to a longer contract. There definitely seams to be a feel good factor around the club at the moment.
