Not sorry to see him depart. If he`s to be believed and the squad is capable of much better then thats surely an admission that he was the wrong man to get the best out of them. Having spent the playing budget, whoever is appointed manager will presumably have to make the best of what he`s got. Deja vu anyone?

could be out of the frying pan ......

Maidstone signed Harry Wheeler yesterday - he could have been an interesting candidate.

That will be the Tully who was soundly booed and jeered when he did the half time draw on Saturday.

And that means he couldn't do the job?

As it happens I think we both would prefer an experienced manager but I can't see Harrop or Osborne appointing anyone that might dare to object to their way of running of the club.

1) When has it been communicated that he has 'spent' then playing budget

2) Osbourne has had to pay him off, so he isnt shy of spending money

3) As we have no transfer window what is to say that the new manager will not be given money for players

Whatever playing budget he did have I don't think he recruited amazingly. We have a team of 'has beens' and national league failures (with the odd exception) - even the spritely Bristol boys were not so spritely against Chippenham!

No of course it doesn't mean he cannot do the job.

We have got a better squad of players than when Nico left last year but the new manager will have his work cut out trying to galvanise the likes of Brett Williams who has been beyond crap so far this season.

Maybe a new manager might start playing to his strengths?

I am glad the club has managed this departure in a more professional manner. The joint statement has allowed Owers to leave with some dignity.

Lets hope they manage the succession with the same or greater professionalism.

This makes total sense...

Look at his 2 goals at Dover 2 seasons back...

Goal 1 - he got a good ball into the box from Jordan Lee, if Davis could cross he would be sticky toffee, Wynter is just as poor at crossing.

Goal 2 - he was in space because Keating had pulled the other defender.

Point is... Williams just got left up top on his own under Owers... OBVIOUS!

I think we had better do the job free of charge spend the money on the players needed. I am joking but the frustration of having some good players and not getting the best out of them has been getting to me. Who the f--- is choosing the new manager look what happened last time. The Assistant is a great bloke good coach but is not a manager he just is not cut out to do the job. It needs football people to choose the manager not the same people. If they had directors in place with the club at heart it would be a start.
