Thanks also to Chris for doing the math. :-D
Andy, merely to point out, dear boy, 'math' is an American term which displays the American inability to make proper use of the English language. It is meant to be an abbreviation of the word 'mathematics', for which the proper short form is 'maths', since the original word is expressed in the plural. It is unfortunate that U.S. dominance of our culture and media, due to its economic and political power and forceful trading practices, combined with a deterioration in standards of education in the UK over the years, has enabled such incorrect expressions to appear and to gain ground on this side of the Atlantic ocean. Mind you, the British themselves are hardly any better these days in the use of their native tongue. Examples are too numerous to mention here, except perhaps one which I saw recently: somebody said 'would of' when he should have said 'would have', as in 'I would have gone to the match', and also the disgraceful and unforgivable use of the word 'given' (a verb) as if it were a noun ('a given') which appears to have originated in U.S. academia and again illustrates a lazy and slovenly attitude to the use of language by those who should know better. Oh and somebody mentioned the 'amount of points' when he should have said 'number of points'. All signs of the decline of modern society and the coming end of our civilisation.. :(
