Nope, reject that entirely. Those who live on the fringes of opinion get along just fine on here. Football chat is based on opinion. Provided you can evidence that opinion, that's fine. The problems start when people pontificate without a shred of justification (like suggesting we're 'in trouble' after two games).
This is the Internet. Post an opinion and expect a robust examination of it to which you must have a robust defence.
There were those who said I was mad in the early days when I picked Eunan as a properly talented chap, there are those who said, much more recently, that I was mad for preferring Tom Cruise to Nico and there are still a lot of people who say I'm insane because I see in Nathan Craig what I saw in Eunan. I have a robust enough defence of all those opinions, I have a thick enough skin to accept that some people will think I'm stupid no matter what happens.
Getting lambasted for an opinion then shying into the shadows is symptomatic of a general lack of belief in that opinion. I appreciate that some people are meek and mild and don't like to have to justify their beliefs. That's fine, but Internet forums aren't the place for them.
Andy, as has been said plenty of times before, is a really nice guy. He looks like a hooligan, but is genuinely one of the nicest blokes (or women, for that matter) that I've ever met. I enjoy my day just a little bit more on days when he nips over to say hello (is this getting a bit gay?). However, he doesn't like being nagged or got at, even in jest. That's fine, that's who he is, that's a part of being Austrian Andy. Unfortunately, that's not really going to help. Being 5'4" means you'll never be an NBA pro. Weighing 8 stone means you'll never be World's Strongest Man and being the way Andy is means he'll never truly enjoy Internet forums.
I'm glad he's gone. I think he will actually be happier without having to deal with what this place can do to people like him and that can only be a good thing.
Matt.

For the record I wish he would come back. Matt you say he doesn't like to be nagged or got at, yet he did plenty of that himself to other people. If he can't take it then don't give it. TBH most of the time he was good for banter but when he gets on one he snaps over nothing. Sorry to say he is unpredictable nice guy or not.
