Will be upset if the game's off as a) it won't be the same on a weeknight and b) its unlikely i'd be able to make it due to being at university.

It all depends how well the pitch covers have held up I guess, but it is forecasted to rain on and off throughout the day. We'll know for sure in an hour.

I would expect this to be called off at 11 - that will definately do for us and will be a right result.
I agree, call it off!

The rain seems to have eased off a bit in the last few minutes.

Can't make the ground till 3.45 might try my luck and ask if i can get in

Think the match will be on, too much confidence from clubs and no announcement of an inspection

Just arrived in Torquay, it's wet but not raining hard. Weather wasn't too bad once I passed ringwood. Had to divert past Yeovil due to road closure

Pitch inspection at 11 makes it sound 50/50 to me. Hope for a quick decision as have to leave shortly after then!

Roads round Wiveliscombe flooded and some impassable, so I shall be among the missing.

Gutted for the club who will no doubt lose out on cash and gutted for the fans travelling down there today, some who have made long journeys but given our injury crisis it's a good thing. I can say that as i'm up here in Derbyshire which is currently wetter than sea. I was gonna go to Alfreton Town but it's just been called off also. Lots of games being called off now. A few years ago near Christmas we couldn't move for snow and now we can't move for water! What next year? A force zillion gale lasting a week which renders people housebound or perhaps a freak sandstorm blowing in off the Devon coast which blankets all of the South West resulting in fans travelling to the game by camel or llama and the FA changing the rules to allow for this one off freak of nature and letting the game go ahead but with the players playing in bare feet like beach football.

Either way, world ending or not, our weather is getting weirder and weirder!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
