We have a quality young striker on trial called Montel Gibson from Notts County I've heard.

Montel. Linden. Tallen.

Christ. Try getting a name mug from the gift shop at the seaside with that lot.

Thank god they can be personalised.

Hard to say how much "quality" he might actually be - he's hardly seen the most first team action in his career:

Seen something via the web about his reserve team record this season 39 goals in 17 games so knows where the net is

Where do you expect a non league club to be looking for their chances of unearthing a 'diamond' then?

He's a development player who's been released after at least three loans out to clubs lower in status than National League and more than likely came to the club's notice through Guy Branston who was at Notts County before taking up his Chesterfield position.

Where would you expect Nicholson to be looking to unearth 'diamonds' who might have fallen through the net from?

Fair point, I didn't know about his loans at lower levels at the time of posting

1-1 so far, we have most of the game but seems like youngsters who don't know each other all playing too quickly (as you would when your desperate to impress).

Stand out player so far is number 9 who seems to have control and composure above the rest.

Vinny Mukendi turned out for one of Dave Bayliss' Barrow sides. He was not very highly regarded. Unless he has improved, I recommend Torquay avoid signing Mr Mukendi.
