Don't reckon the current Dartmouth team is strong enough to give the
TUFC squad a decent game. A Dartmouth guest XI might however. SG might be down that one. He'd probably get roped in to play in goal.

Funny enough I am about to pop down to Elmore to see them take on Bradford tonight (On-Avon not City!) in their last ever Western League game. Next season they move across to the South West Peninsula Premier division to cut down on travelling....so they will play the likes of Ivybridge, Falmouth and Bodmin next year
Elmore are not a bad team, a good mix of old experienced players who have played at higher levels and lads like my son who is trying to break into the team, he has played about 20 games this year mainly from the bench.....I don't think the Western league is as strong as it was when the likes of Tiverton, Bridgwater, Taunton and Weston played in it, but there are some great individual players, who geographics apart would play at a higher level. Most of the teams at this level have players who were, at one time, linked with football league clubs....its a bit of a players graveyard at times!
For I shall be returned to the motherland this summer, and I will be expecting a Torquay United match to entertain me on July 27th. Make it so, people.
Also I will make myself available so that you, my adoring fans, can buy me cider.
So far we've heard links with QPR and Bristol City, and now I've seen that Knill is trying to get us to go to Hereford. Bit of a journey for a friendly!?? Is that necessary, really?
Anyway use this thread for news on any pre-season friendlies, and who you'd like to see and all that jazz.
I did actually do a pre-season friendly thread Nick but as your's is more recent we'll use yours mate. :~D
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Just been told by a Taunton Town player we have a pre-season with them - not sure if it's home or away but it would be good if its away (for me that is!)
May not be the original, but I am the best 'TauntonGull' .... See I can do signatures too, coz I am a real boy!
