That's the photo from my uni ID, never fails to get a laugh.

The piece this week is one which would probably come across better, if I could do an audio blog, so you guys can hear it the way I do in my head, where it really is an incredibly sad 800 words.

Glad you're enjoying it, as I said, hopefully the next one will be happier, praising the boys for a couple of excellent wins.

Matt.

As the moron Jamie Redknapp would say, that was a "top top" article and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it as well as the previous one too. Thank you.

You should post the link on the Rovers forum Matt. That would be my evening entertainment sorted.

Nice post.

Subhead should be 'just desserts', though ;-)

Also wrong use of 'kerb'.

I'm a dick, I know :)

I'll answer my own question. Yes.

Well spotted Haps, Ma, yes, curb, not kerb, thatll teach me to write stuff at 0400, then leave it for 24 hours to 'settle' but forget to proof read it.

Not guilty on the sub heading, that's done by Sky.

HRGie, feel free to post it on the Useless forum, put some popcorn on and enjoy the ride.

Matt.

Yeah, it was curb. Not a big deal really, but this is me.

I've already complained to our man at Sky Sports (andy C) about the shocking sub-editing. :)

Matt, I'm not thick-skinned enough to take the abuse that would inevitably follow.

Matt Parkman - the name seems familiar . . .

"Why him of the five and a half hat size has the makings of a bloody hero !"

Matt Parkman (character played by actor Greg Grunberg in the TV series Heroes).

"a man who was part of a defence which held firm for exactly 1000 consecutive minutes last season."

Actually I must point out that it was 998 minutes, if Vale had waited two more minutes we would have got it.

There are some places which say 998, but then, there are places which say the Bugatti Veyron has only 991bhp, when we all know it's 1001.
