there's a lot of players kicking around in search of a club by the looks of it.

Agree excellent work Brett! It's made me a lot happier about our position - we actually look more stable than most and there are some useful players out there we could look seriously at.

Interesting to see(though hardly surprising)given the state of the finances of most League 2 clubs, that hardly any fees have been paid for players.
Getting players on free's,or on loan, is now the norm, with the clubs that can afford the biggest wages in the strongest position to recruit the best quality players.

Some of that is probably due to most contracts being 1 or 2 years long - this started happening after the collapse of ITV Digital. Makes you realise how hard it is to properly build a successful team over a few seasons.

Couple of rumours doing the rounds today:

AFC Wimbledon to lose captain and top scorer Danny Kedwell to Gillingham

and there was another one before I remembered Wycombe got promoted :(

Brilliant effort Brett. Well done.

3 things:

1) I see Cody Mcdonald has left Gillingham (He was on loan) Has he gone back to Norwich, his parent club? Good goalscorer?
2) Should we be looking to bring back Danny Senda?
3) What about Gavin Tomlin. Do we still have him on loan, or has he been recalled by D&R?

Think Mcdonald is beyond us, yes i think Senda deserves another look, and yes, Tomlin's loan finished and he's back at D&R.

Very good effort Brett, should probably have its own thread so it can easily be referred to and updated.

1) Cody McDonald was ridiculous, should not be playing in this league at all. League 1 at least really, I predict he'll be a very good Championship/bottom half Prem player 'when he grows up'.

2) Could be worth a shout, the BR fans seemed to rate him very well in L1 and considering Zebroski isn't good enough for them, Senda must have his quality back. My worry is that he is asking for bigger wages now his fitness is coming back which could be why they released him. Or it was Buckle's choice. I'd give him another go.

3) Tomlin's loan is long finished and he is back at D&R with 1 year left on his contract I believe. I certainly wouldn't complain at a season long loan with a few to a freebie at the end!

Thanks guys. It was Buckle who decided not to keep Danny Senda at TUFC, I believe, so I see no reason why he would want to keep him at Brizzle Rovers. I guess it will be Buckle's decision to let him go. I would like to see him back.

Must admit, I have an interest in Cody Mcdonald. I come, originally, from Dartford and have followed/supported the team for many years. Cody was signed, by Norwich, from Dartford and I have tried to keep an eye on his progress. I, also, think he is, for want of a better word, "too good" (Yes, I know thats 2 words) for league 2, at the moment ,and if he keeps his head he could do really well for himself.

There is another player at Dartford, Charlie Sherringham (Teddy's boy) He hit 14 in 29 games for them last year. Could be worth a look at.

Shame about Gavin. I thought he did really well, for us, and I would have liked to see him stay.

Another one I have just thought off. Ronan Murray. I believe he has been released, by his parent club (Can't remember who that was...Ipswich/ Leicester?) Would he be welcome back to TUFC. I thought he was pretty good. :scarf:

Ronan Murray would be great to have back. I thought he was held in quite high regard by Ipswich though, surprised they would release him.

Camgull. I'm sure I saw , a while ago, that they had released him. I will check and make sure I have my facts right. :)

OK just had a look on Wiki (!) and it does say on there that he was offered a new 12 month contract in April. Must be confused ( Very easy to do)
Sorry. :slap:
