Dreyer should be available for Saturday - ban wont come into effect in time i believedesperado wrote: 12 Feb 2025, 10:21 Can't see Dreyers red being overturned , these things never are but looks like we are going to try.
With no Dyer, Foulston or Dreyer after Saturday we are in a pickle. Do we play Moxey or is his fitness too much of a gamble. I would consider Threlkeld who was originally a centre back . Two awful goals conceded last night, more so the second one , you don't want Craske and Carson trying to deal with a high ball and Nash is hardly a giant but they made a complete hash of that cross. Would have had a chance if Palmer and Dreyer had been in that area.

My 2 - 1 away loss prediction 'foiled' in injury time. A point I think most would have taken pre-kickoff. Our subs added to the tempo of the game and Jay is getting better, harried their keeper and unlucky not to sneak a goal. Mussa seems to play better off the bench IMO. TBH, both teams guilty of long balls, although Worthing's were originating from defence, not GK.
A result on Saturday will be a great week's work. Let's get Plainmoor rocking; our voices will be needed!

A pickle is an apt description, we know dyer and foulston are out for a month and possibly longer unless we repeat poor decisions and bring them back too soon like we did before and that didnt go well, plus when they do return they will be no where near match fit, unless we are very lucky with the FA dreyer gets a three match ban. So no central defense other than palmer and a 45 minute moxey, I would hope some urgent phone calls are being made this morning to get in an experienced short term cover centre half because we certainly need at least one.desperado wrote: 12 Feb 2025, 10:21 Can't see Dreyers red being overturned , these things never are but looks like we are going to try.

On seeing the highlights I think we came very close to a 4-2 win because 2 low crosses across the penalty box in the last 10-15 minutes only needed the slightest touch to score.
A great away point for the boys. Only 2 teams won in the Top 10 Dorking in the 93rd minute and Eastbourne.
