Solihull Moors 26/08/2017
Nice to be coming down your neck of the woods again.
Yes , it is pleasing to also see that your former Wetherspoons ( by the Clock Tower ) has been refurbished - I must sit in that deckchair, that the Lloyds Bar has in there !..
We brought 34 supporters last time , for a night match last October - not bad , hey !
One or two of us are ex Birmingham City supporters - St. Andrews is basically devoid of any real atmosphere these days - we prefer standing up , so it is pleasing to see Plainmoor hasn't been turned into an all seater affair .
Football stadiums should have some German style "safe terracing ", for those who want to stand.
Well done Celtic , Shrewsbury Town and Northampton Town for going down this route !..
Hopefully more will follow and create real atmosphere like it used to be !...
Plainmoor had great atmosphere last October , when Moors were there.
Sure it will be the same on the 26th August 2017 !..

Don't worry , we will bring more this time round.
We love Plainmoor , that good Fish n Chip nearby ( Hanbury's ) and some good watering holes and mild climate.
We want to create good banter noise to football and less stupid over the top political correctness .
Bring back Benny Hill , who drove the fastest milkcart in the West ! (so Torquay way, I believe ).
As Chuck Berry would say " For those of you who will not sing , you must be playing with your own ding - a - ling " !..

Hi Fred. How do you rate solihulls chances in the league this season?
Thought you lot did well last season until a collapse near the end.

Really think Solihull will finish in the top 10.Plainmoor78 wrote: ↑26 Jul 2017, 05:48 Hi Fred. How do you rate solihulls chances in the league this season?

When we started to loose many games and really feared relegation , things turned around when we got thrashed at Tranmere !..
The players responded by paying for a FREE supporters coach to Macclesfield , where we won against all odds.
We may not be the biggest club around , but we give our players / management ALOT of stick for "below par " performances.
Our ground is right next to Land Rover , so we want to follow suit , by providing a good , solid showing !...

Be careful what you send to this page, Fred. The locals get angry if an outsider sends too many e-mails.

Great memories from Solihull away last season. Great club house and friendly bunch of locals. Boy did it pour down at the end, but sparkles made it a great night. Good luck to Solihull this season, a team doing the right things without being bank rolled.Fred Perry wrote: ↑26 Jul 2017, 09:04 Really think Solihull will finish in the top 10.

I think he's referring to us Exiled grockles who can't afford to live there and can't get work there.

Nice one , thanks for the compliments.
We probably have the best, homely club house in the League - as three separate bars at the ground - the one bar set aside " totally " for away supporters , with a good following e.g. Torquay.
( We " both " play in yellow and blue ). ( More terracing hopefully returns to grounds now !... )

Hi
Some of us are coming down for a couple of nights , besides the Supporters Coach on the day.
Where is the best pub close to the ground , where you can " mingle " with Torquay supporters ?.
Best pubs for a " good " beer and food ?
Local gyms to " work out " in , paying as a guest ?
Cheers
