I read in the Herald Express that Plymouth have waived their 'match fee' for this friendly. They were entitled to half the match takings. So like last season, Plymouth and fans are helping us out of the mire we are in - especially as at least half the fans at the match were Argyle supporters.

That is another brilliant gesture from PAFC but it just emphasises the depth of our financial problems.

Just watched the 6.10 race at Lingfield. Two of the horses in the race are called Torquay and Argyle!! Madness! Torquay came second by a nose with Argyle back in third so although it didn't actually win the race, it's one up over the gargs. :~D
