Really can't decide between the top thre so they are equal first.

Marsh. Right place right time covered ground at speed
Wright. Distribution and skill was that of a player way above this level
Richards. Lead like a general from the start, took his chance as captain seriously, special mention in dispatches and
rcomendation for a medal of the highest level
Lavercombe. Crucial saves at crucial times that if they had not been there the game could have been sooooo different
Verma. Never stopped even when he looked completely knackered.

Special mention to Gerring to come in and play like that deserves praise.

Would just like to mention nicho, he's only been mentioned once or twice in the thread, but his performance was as solid as anyone else's, puffing a lot towards the end but hung in there, and under the circumstances with his grandad, massive respect!
To the dotted line, We're on our way

Marsh -2 precious goals. Worked until he had nothing left in the tank
Wright- Worked really hard almost until the end. Great cross for the first. Deserved his goal
Richards - Captain's performance. Wins many more headers than his height suggests
Verma - Also, won a lot of headers and was a source of the few bits of midfield quality
Berry - Up against their best player and found a way of countering him. Still had the energy to get up into the box and get his goal

Heslop could easily have got on to my list for none stop running and the right level of aggression when it mattered

First Half - Marsh, Wright, Verma for good link-up play and the goals
Second Half - Lavercombe for early save to stay at 2-1
Heslop for tremendous energy, covering Berry, commitment to get forward

It should be the Top Eleven players this week. Very difficult to pick out just five, but here are mine -
Durrell Berry - up against the talanted and quick Frear but managed to keep him quiet for most of the match. His distribution was good all game and that vital third goal was a good strike.
Dan Butler - a hard-working performance and quick to drop back to support Nicho when necessary.
Dan Lavercombe - played well and made vital saves when the score was 2 - 1
Nathan Smith - yet another impressive display; got in good tackles and blocks. His attitude, as always, was great
Courtney Richards - Courtney is a winner and makes a good captain as shown yesterday

Any of the other six who started the match could have got into my top five.
