Just seen that we are in talks with Plymouth argyle to share our training ground

they talked about that at the Fans' Forum. Seale hayne is costing a grand a month in rent; sharing it, even with the Gargs, would save a lot of dosh.

Would be a good, progressive move by the new board, IMO.

It's this kind of outside-the-box thinking that will be needed to dig our club out from the ditch it finds itself in.

Hope it comes off and we don't get short-changed by Argyle in the deal.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

I don't think that's anywhere near possible with the characters we have at Torquay United now.

And to be honest I don't think the present-day Argyle would dream of attempting to short-change us. Besides which, much as I also love our other Devonshire Football League team (spit), I'd rather do business with Argyle than with the Greeks right now.. :)

Well, if they do they will need a back up plan for the period November to March when the pitches will be unplayable and an investment of £40-60K next close season for drainage and pitch improvements.
