Good Friday 2017
yes, i think matching their results is the best we can hope for, i think yorks form since parkin arriverd will probably see them safe, if we could get a draw at lincoln it would be excellent, altho we hardly have a good track record there and they will be wanting to keep that top spot grabbed back last night, could be a good time to play them, they've had so many games, and dont seem to be winning many by more than one goal, who knows we could sneak one like we did at aldershot, and then hopefully defend it?
personally i think we'll lose 1-0, i'll be there roaring my support

april 2017 our biggest month ever??
well after an up and down month, two wins, two draws and two very disappointing defeats, we arrive on saturday into april 2017, possibly the biggest single month in the whole of our history!
six games to negotiate, we just need to do better than woking (should do) and york (looks a bit more difficult), and we're staying up! and the thorny issue of that council meeting! although i'd love us to stay at plainmoor, personally i think the council should probably agree to selling the freehold, but do not transfer it until the new ground is built and open, and to ensure that future rents are set a manageable level, dependent on which division we are in year by year. that would ensure that the responsibility is entirely GI's, if the ground never gets built, then the town keeps plainmoor, that should be the be all and end all, they need to look at truro city and see that the agreement isnt worth the paper its printed on, unscrupulous business people can wriggle out of any situation!
anyway, on to the pitch, six games, three at home, three away. the three home games all look very winnable, but then again so did guiseley and sutton and we know what happened there!! two wins and a draw would be acceptable i guess? the away games all look horrendous, aldershot, lincoln and dover, ouch! one draw perhaps, but you just never know with TUFC, we often get a result where we were least expecting it! this month is gonna be a roller coaster ride thats for sure! i'll make it to lincoln and i guess i'll head down for the last game if we're still valid!
fingers crossed and strap yourselves in, its gonna be a bumpy ride!!
yellow army!!

Club Update
interesting, and as you say, prompted by the groundswell of negative opinion on social media.
no mention of the playing side, the valiant effort that nicho and the team appear to finally be making, recruitment or the point of geoff harrop, but its a start. hopefully we'll still be above the drop zone when the easter forum happens?

thats a superb win, and most unexpected, altho tempered by the loss of sparkes, hope its not another season ending injury, the future is back in our own hands again, i like that a lot!

The Predictions Game ......
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/nat ... e/fixtures
doomed! i honestly cant see us getting more than two draws in our five away games, so that leaves us with the three home games, which, in theory should all be winnable, but given the fact we've got 1 point from our last four, i really doubt we'll win more than two of them, if that? so we're relying on some teams getting less points than us, i'll go for two wins and two draws, so eight points, we're two behind the team above us, it looks worse to me than we've ever been as the team seem bereft of confidence, ability and desire

that lanky streak of piss sale!! just thought that monk grew up in paignton, professes to be a TUFC fan so would be an ideal man to tap up for a striker or two until the end of the season? the clocks ticking, good win saturday, but we'll almost certainly lose against tranmere tonight?

he's a torquay lad, why don't we tap in to leeds united and see who they can loan to us, he'd surely be able to swing a deal or two with the crazy italian?? or has the whole eunan thing rendered this unlikely,or unwanted?
