Saul Halpin reported on Twitter a short while ago that he was injured in training today and would not be back in action until next week.
Might take 6 or 7 off the crowd

Re: Championship striker
Certainly wasn't in the Championship last season, so if he's a depth signing fine, but he's been a troublemaker in the past and his record in the league is hardly inspiring apart from a spell in L2 with Rochdale a few seasons ago.
And the classy 'Dating In The Dark' is apparently his latest attempt to score as well

Re: Progress of new stand
Thought it has previously been mentioned and confirmed that no work can start until the end of term at Westlands because of the asbestos worry and the fact that the lane will have to be closed to pedestrian traffic.

Re: Concentrate on TUFC
Maybe we could get the phantom Wikipedia editor to update it - clearly on the case with all the latest news.

Re: Concentrate on TUFC
I agree with regards to the website - while we get a lot more stories nowadays, some areas of the OS are brutally ignored, most notably the first team profiles/squad list page which still has Ashley Hemmings on it FFS!

Re: Robertson next for transfer list
As yet, no one apart from the story which clearly started from this forum, has come out and said anything about Robbo. I wouldn't be completely surprised if this was never going to happen and never will.

Re: Robertson next for transfer list
As it stands I would be very surprised if Crawley and Rovers do not fill the first two spots - not sure which manager I would least like to see win the title though.

Re: Robertson next for transfer list
Been watching him for the last two years if you believe his comments.
Must have been preparing for his Gas move a lot longer that we had thought, or are these other signings he is making the ones we 'couldn't afford'.

Re: Robertson next for transfer list
Joe Anyinsah was the signing they were being promised today - not Robbo as most had expected/guessed at.

Joe Anyinsah was their signing to be announced today - and that's another good one for the midget-general.

Re: Triallists?
I cannot believe no-one has snapped up Curtis Osano yet since Rushden went into oblivion - he'd be a perfect replacement for Robbo, should he depart.

Re: Bristol Rovers Away Game (Yellow Pride!)
Sorry CP, since I am over the age of 35 there is no Bossman Supporter System Scenario Situation applying to this move.
I hear my great friend PB is in the market for a fan with as much silverware as you - I'd give Rovers a call, you would be lauded as a legend up there, trust me.
Just saw your edit Chris - ya cheeky wee *&%*(_

Re: Bristol Rovers Away Game (Yellow Pride!)
(Inspired by a couple of Tweets)
I have decided to accept the offer of a two-year deal to become a Bristol Rovers supporter until the end of 2013-4.
Myself and Paul Buckle have been talking over this option since March when it became clear he was heading for the promised land of League Two.
I was very keen to stay in the same team as Craig Stanley, Chris Zebroski, Chris Robertson and Scott Bevan and see this as a move up the supporters ladder.
They have halved my entrance fee and promised me regular first team football at the top of the league.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Torquay and wish them all the best for the future, but now my life lies as a Bristol Rovers fan and it is them I shall be giving my all to from now on.
Thanks to Torquay for giving me a start in football fandom - maybe I shall return one day if things do not work out for me and Bucks at our new club.
I have heard also that at least four other fans will be following me in making this move and shall post their names if so desired. One of them could well be Southampton Gas, who does not have to change his nickname. (But this I cannot confirm right now!)
