2019/2020 Kits

Teigngull wrote: 14 Jul 2019, 10:30 Just tried to access the new shirts on the OS by following the links, no go I'm afraid.
We should all contact the club via email to give them a chance to sort it. I have.
Shouldn't need everybody e-mailing the club. If you have then they will know about it so should sort the problem.....

Looks like he does as we are not listed in the league table! Don't really want to show the clubs in National Premier too early. Too frightenting! ;-)

It was a bit of a faff ordering my £60 limited edition black shirt whuich I look very smart in. I would have been delighted to go to games wearing it knowing that it was limited edition and not everyone would have them, but it seems now you can get them in any colour you want. Bordering on a criminal offence actually as I never part with my money easily! ;-)

Kingsgull83 wrote: 01 Jul 2019, 12:18 Navy blue, plain yellow. Looks nice not hugely dissimilar to our last 2 strips. The 1899 across the front looks really nice though.
It does on my special pro-direct commemorative shirt too. That's why I hoped the repors of the shirt having sold out were true. Would double my investment overnight! ;-)

Question or not? I don't really care as long as we play in the correct colours.

2019/2020 Kits

Kingsgull83 wrote: 28 Jun 2019, 00:19 As I previously posted I have seen all 3 new kits and they have the 1899 logo instead of sponsor as the anniversary shirt. Unless they have changed for pro direct
Yes you did post that we had no sponsor on the shirts for next season and I posted in reply "Bollocks of course we will".

Commercially it does not make sense not to. Often the shirts are produced before the sponsor has been sorted and the sponsor name is added after. I suspect that is what you saw - the shirts before sponsorship contracts had been sorted.

Brilliant gone up in value already. Will have to take good care of mine. Just like owning a vintage car! ;-)

Yes I should have said Germany, Italy, France, and Spain have nothing to fear!

Dutchgull wrote: 08 Jun 2019, 12:00 The Dutch are not calling it a golden generation that was the stupid over hype of England when Lampard, Gerrard etc were around. De Light is 19 De Jong 22 Van De Beek 22 Bergwijn is 22 so hopefully a brighter future if only a clinical finisher could be found ! :) :) :)
Yes it was stupid over hype by the English press nearly 20 years ago now, which is why I am surprised the Dutch are making the same mistake.

I was in Amsterdam 5 or 6 weeks ago for Koningsdag and the same sort of hype was in the newspaper about the Dutch national team.

They do look promising mind and hope they beat Portugal. I remember being tremendously disappointed when they failed to win the World Cup finals of 1974 and 1978 when they had a fantastic team and thoroughly deserved to.

The result didn't matter in what was a jazzed up friendly but it was encouraging in that it showed we have nothing to fear from the Dutch so called golden generation over the next 10 years or so ;-)

Teigngull wrote: 03 Jun 2019, 10:55 Now in receipt of my champions shirt.
Nice quality, light fitting & even came in a presentation box ( nice touch ).
Was it worth £60 ? Well that depends on how much you really wanted it, for me though, worth every penny .
Well done TUFC & Pro Direct.
Very light fitting I have never owned a shirt so thin. Not sure about putting it in the washing machine as it may not hold together and the various emblems look as though they may fall off if subjected to the severe turbulence of a modern washing facility.

I do look damned smart in it though! ;-)

Well tomo reckons he was and is rarely wrong!

I remember him well and his 'Snow in Newton Abbot' shouts even on hot August early season games! Barking!
