I was sat next to a coach from Bristol rovers development squad who was supposedly running the rule over two bridgwater players but he did say he was impressed by our right winger (no17) and one of our central defenders (no4). which worries me a bit as we cannot sign anyone let alone youth team players.

Presumably the players are all but one or two out of contract, not being paid and released or some told may be offered new terms in a week or two? Surely some have left already never to be seen again . Can't they even tell us that ?Anyone know ? Expect Merse does.......

I hope to be proved wrong, but I remain highly suspicious about the secrecy surrounding the identity of the preferred bidder. As previously mentioned, other clubs are overt about potential purchasers/investors - e.g. Man Utd and Sir Jim Ratcliffe - so why all the cloak and dagger activities at Plainmoor?
