Aveley F C vs Torquay United Sat 2 Sept KO 3pm
I would a love a win amd a good performance but I feel it will be a typical Torquay game of two halves. 2-0 at half time and 2-2 full time.

With the way we are so open at the back, I can't see us winning any time soon. 2-3 Chippenham

Hoping for a win. Bringing the eldest to his second game. The last one was the most boring 1-1 draw with Southend May 22. He predicts a 2-1 home win.

Fixtures 2020/21
Macclesfield have now been expelled from the 12th of October, this as mentioned above is the date after the 3 postponed games.
On another note the government have just agreed to bailout grants (not loans) upto a total of £20 million for the whole of the National League structure. Details are a bit vague at the moment but potentially somewhere in the region on £400-£500 thousand may be available to National League teams with obviously less for the regional leagues. Hopefully, this will mean we may not see another Macclesfield in the near future.
I don't know too much about football finance but a quick back of the envelope calculation of 2000 fans, 1000 season tickets and 1000 on the gate paying on average £15 for ~25 games is £360 000, the other associated costs of games has also changed but this may keep slot of teams afloat.

I am also heading from Kingsbridge at 5pm if you fancy a lift?smw89 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2018, 11:17 Looking forward to finishing work 5pm on the dot and heading from Kingsbridge upto Weston,
I'll be travelling alone (could give lifts if needed) but when I get there I want to know where we will all be (the noisiest fans) do we know if fans are segregated (which I prefer) or are we all mixed together with the home supporters?
One thing is certain though, that I cannot wait!!

Late & Injury time goals
Thank you Jerry. I will do my best to get something done before the end of the week. I may even get my students to help me out.Jerry wrote: ↑04 Sep 2017, 07:59 Try Soccerbase.

Click on the little green I to the left of the result and it gives scorers and goal times. Seems to have the actual goal times going back to 1996/97.

I will try and get some stats for this. But to help out does anyone know of a website that easily conveys historic match data, such as time of goal. For example: Torquay 1 (Scorer, 19) Some unheard of team 4 ( Scorer 2, 81, 83, 85, 89). It could become a tedious job if i have to search for every game especially when finding historic data past a couple of seasons.

The Gulls v Gateshead (away) 9 August 2014
Lucy, I phoned Steve last night and he said they are fully booked, so a few.
To the game, I honestly have no idea, Gateshead, along with a few other teams have (like us) have bought in many players. I think we will be relatively competitive, we have a stronger squad this year.
Fingers crossed and COYY

Age survey
I'm 24 and although I had been to some games when I was young the game that got me hooked was Yeovil 2007 at home in the F.A cup. Been hooked since.
