Highest and lowest TUFC away support.

I was one of no more than 6 at Halifax on a Tuesday night in our first season in the conference with Buckle, Lee Phillips was the only player that didn't have a shocker and made the 3-0 scoreline more respectable with a couple of late goals. One stand was closed and there were hardly any home fans so don't think any United fans were hiding amongst them. I overheard one fan grumbling that they'd come all this way for that rubbish, then had a 6 hour drive home before going to work at 7.

We must've had quite a lot at Barnet for the relegation decider, coachloads of us ended up outside as there weren't enough tickets.

F.A Trophy semi final 2nd leg v Wrexham

Smiffy is spot on, dire performance, everything about it was aimless. Completely devoid of tactics.

F.A Trophy semi final 2nd leg v Wrexham

0-0 half time. Very low on quality, both teams just lumping it so lots of goal kicks and throw ins, not much else. Ajala looks our only player capable of doing anything but might have injured himself or got upset when he got a hand in the face. Wrexham taking their time with everything, they're happy with 0-0. Need a winger on the right wing and some passing in midfield.

Pearce, Downes or MacDonald

I haven't seen Pearce this season, but would go with the other two simply because they were the partnership when we had our amazing run of form. Pearce and Downes were together most of last season and we didn't do well so I'd be concerned their partnership breeds unconfidence (or whatever the actual word for that is).

Torquay United v Dover Athletic – Saturday 20th September

I'm mostly going on BBC text commentary but Ryan Bowman always seems to get a shot on target within two minutes.

Last week people were saying Chester and Grimsby would be our benchmarks, now we've beaten them and we're still not sure if we're any good? Can't we just be pleased with how we've done regardless of who it was against and take the next match as it comes? If the team carry on as they have been I don't think we should fear anyone and maybe a few teams will start seeing us as their true test.

Grimsby v Torquay United – Saturday 13th September 2014

Great result, great consistency, nice to be scoring goals from midfield, though I hope Bowman is alright.

Keep it up lads and you can beat anyone!

Didn't we nearly buy Ross Hannah a couple years ago? Supposedly a goal machine.

Torquay United v Nuneaton Town – Saturday 6th September 2014

I wrote a proper review but that seems to have lost in the ether so in summary:

Great passing, moving and space filling - simple but brilliant! Nice to have midfielders who can break up play too.
Well done Tom Cruise - I've always doubted him but he was great.
Forwards worked very hard, will cause anyone problems, with a better first touch would've each had a goal first half but overall great and brilliant setup for Young's second.

Swindon Town v Torquay United - 6/8/13 - Cup

Blimey, if that's a rushed post from Andy I'd hate to see his intro when he's got time on his hands!

We always get knocked out of this cup first round so I can't see tonight being any different (2-0), just hope it'll allow our new players to gel a bit more before we play for points again.

Re: Torquay United v Exeter City - 22/12/12

Is this all ticket? Think it's unlikely I can persuade the Mrs to drop me off as we drive down to see family, but on the off chance it'd be good to know I can get in.
