Re: New Book by Chris Hargreaves

Of all tha gaffes to allow through that one surely has to be one of the worst I've ever read, sort it out Jesus ;-)
Also, i'm hoping our former keeper Michael 'Pope' doesn't read the book!

That aside, good read so far. Particularly enjoyed his winding up of Nicho. Thanks to the OP for bringing the book to my attention.

Re: the latest odds

Fair enough, a slight loss is worth it for the enjoyment. I asked because the accumulators weren't working out for me so i've moved to single bets on asian handicaps and goal line.. less excitement than chasing the big win but i'm making a small profit so far this season.

Re: 5,000 sold

We didn't take anywhere near 5000 to Shrewsbury and that was an unbelievable atmosphere, so whilst it'll be a shame to see so many empty seats, we'll still create an amazing atmosphere and cheer the lads on to victory! Bit more positivity please.

Re: Jake Thomson

Jack Midson has been released by Oxford. Doesn't seem to have done much since his hat-trick at Plainmoor but could be a useful addition to the squad. I'd much rather have Reuben Reid though.

Re: Torquay v Shrews 1st leg

How did Ellis get on yesterday? What are peoples thoughts on bringing him back in, shifting Robbo to RB and putting Manse into the midfield? I know it's a bad time to re-shuffle but we haven't won in 5 and I think it would give us a stronger spine.

Re: League 2: Rotherham United vs Torquay United

Stanley was sat with the subs today, good to hear!

I've got a horrible feeling that Nicky Wroe will score the goal that ends our promotion hopes.. hopefully i'm wrong.

Next Saturday 5.45 for the home leg
Friday 7.45 for the away one

Ellis on for Tomlin. I'm guessing Robbo's gone right back, manse centre mid, eunan out wide and bill up top? Intereseting...

Not turned up apparently.

However, Zebs will equalise again and Billy will come off the bench and bag the winner before Bevan saves a penalty. You heard it here 1st...

Daniel's the Exeter player. Michael used to play for us at U13s level before the centre of excellence got shut down. He stood out back then but I think his career's been halted by injury. So yeah, the family's from the area and they seem to all be pretty handy at football. Any idea what position he plays? Daniel and Michael are both strikers.
