Was he, I missed that. I spoke with most of the planers before the game and he was not with them. Glad he was there.UnitedinDevon wrote: ↑08 Apr 2024, 21:34 Archer MoTM

Can people please show a little sense when questioning why Mel and George are still working for the club. There is paperwork to do, accounts to pay and keep. Plus hundreds of day to day tasks to keep the club running. We would not have a game tomorrow without certain blocks being in place. Would you prefer the new owners to pick up a going concern or a club dumped by all and not completing the season. Like it or not, they may be more critical than ever right now.

Taunton Town.
I live 20 miles away from Chichester and have been aware of this project for a while. It is another example of a club making money, while supporting local communities. A family member is directly involved in the women's side.TommyGunn wrote: ↑03 Apr 2024, 19:28 If you do your homework and it's for the community it may be possible with grants. Even the premier league are funding them as here. We need people with a can do attitude at Torquay.
Last week saw the official opening of a new 3G pitch at Chichester City’s Oaklands Park, thanks to a £729,000 grant from the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation.
In addition to the funding from the Foundation, the remaining project value was provided by £150k from the Premier League Stadium Fund via the Club Development Fund, £30k from Chichester City (CCFC) and £300k from Chichester District Council.

Firstly let's remember Nick Broderick and TUST are just like you and I supporters. They simply want what is best for the club. However, they find themselves in a position of huge responsibility, while finding themselves talking about things that could be above their knowledge levels (this is not meant as a slight). My concern and I don't believe we know yet is how many interested parties are there. They have 'hung their hat' on their bid, is that the best bid and should they represent us, the supporters in exploring all options.

Full time V Part Time
I have a number of times talked of moving training towards Bristol. Location to me remains part of the problem. We need to attract a greater number of players. A 3g / 4g pitch is a must at our level. This could be used 365 days a year and help address our financial shortcomings. A great coffee shop, will again make a decent amount of money from parents watching children play. Full or part time is a tough call, but we need to cut our cloth.

Fantastic news and a scheme that I would be looking join and back. My only observation as this time would be, this is the TUST backed group. Who are the other parties, why should we not consider them?

I guess this is more of a question and needs exploring more. Is our catchment area large enough for part time football at this level. As I've said below, I would explore moving training out of area a little. Could we tap into areas like Bristol. Further, a lot depends on the league we find ourselves in, the new owners budget and if we exist - maybe our biggest battle.

I understand Neil Warnock is going to be there tomorrow. I believe in some way we should acknowledge that, he could hold all the cards for our future.

I would love Neil to be involved in a consortium. However, I question why he's spoken out. Does this mean he's not involved.
