For Covolan to play a blinder we need to be creating chances and then getting them on target. Unless there’s a change from recent form I can’t see either of those happening.

That couldn’t work. Two sides are going up from the National League so if only one came down L2 would have 25 teams next year.

I can’t really see us benefitting this season and wouldn’t really want us to that way. If Southend do go then next season they may have only three teams go down but with four up from NLS and NLN to bring it back to 24 teams.

Just had an email from the Club to say it is because more poor weather forecast, which they obviously think will improve by Wednesday.

The forecast is definitely better on Wednesday but only showing as a high of 5C so whether that’s enough to thaw out the frozen pitch remains to be seen. It is showing as above freezing wednesday evening though which may help.

Very proactive decision to do this now rather than wait until tomorrow to just call it off.

The game has now been switched to Wednesday 7.45pm to give it a better chance of going ahead.

Where did you get that deadline from? Think it’s fairly standard for it to be 28 days. Dave Thomas is saying one month from Sunday’s game. Not saying you are wrong just wondering where that’s come from.

Also do you have a link at all to the interview you mention?

In his aftermatch comments Gary states that he feels the current group has had it’s best days and he needs to build a new group. Think the next few days could be interesting.
