Did your mother never tell you that two wrongs don't make a right??!!!
Surely there's got to be a fine heading the way of both clubs. As for the game ... replay please. We've got nothing to lose and a possible 1 or 3 points to gain.

Re: £10
Really Sneapy?? I would guess that most people would disagree with that last comment. Personally I'm happy to pay the going rate (provided it's within reason and in line with other teams in our league!!). Others might find it a wee bit expensive for their pockets, but reducing prices has not worked. Everytime we've tried something along these lines it never seems to bring in the crowds and the needed increase numbers on the gate.
Football is one of those things that's purchased on a lot more that just price. For instance if we are challenging for promotion or have a big cup game then we get big crowds. When there's something to turn up for people turn up. Unfortunately for a lot of people in and around Torquay just being able to see their local team play is not a good enough reason.
Another example is the two games at the new Wembley. How many more did we take the first time than the Cambridge game?? I can't remember the actual price, but I doubt there was much difference in the tickets. The first time around and the chance to go to Wembley brought along a load of 'extras'. I know of at least 5 people who had no interest the second time around. Yep that's right the game that was by far the more important game. If the tickets had been a fiver I bet they still wouldn't have gone!!

Re: Benyon - Swindon
Happy to be corrected on this as I'm only going from memory (more unreliable than an Alfa I once had!!!), but wasn't it Mansell?? Didn't we have Mansell and Hargreaves in the middle and then when Wroe came in Mansell got moved to right back??

Crappy header, but in the right place at the right time. At the end of the day a goal's a goal.

Re: Torquay United vs Stockport County
I'm going with a 3-1 win tomorrow.
Just checked the odds on bet 365 and we're 4/7 to win. For some silly reason I actually went against my normal way of thinking and backed us. And at those odds as well !!!

They must be paying him decent money if he can afford a penis extension. I've been saving ages for mine.

Not that frickin place again!!MidDevon wrote:Quite simply a 6th round draw would put us 90 minutes from Wembley as the semis are played there
I was about to say that it just doesn't appeal like it once did, but then I though ... it's the FA Cup ... it's the semi-final ... it'll be a Prem club as opposition (surely??) .... it will be a massive day out. I'm starting to come around to the idea.
If we progress please can it be Arsenal away. I've asked enough times now so please sort those balls out!!

Re: Your chance to design next years home kit
Some really good designs on this thread. If I knew how to work anything that did the kit designs I would have personally put together something with the strip across the shirt. This is the style that was voted for by Palace fans this year as their away kit. Always liked it.
Personal favourite though is YellowM25's design. I wasn't sure whether I'd like in reverse with yellow as the predominant colour, but it looks superb. It gets my vote and would have me parting with a bit of cash.

Re: Fleetwood Town or Walsall at home
Home tie against either a team a league below or a team who are having a terrible start to the season. Happy enough with that. Definitely a good opportunity to progress and have our ball in the bag with the chance of getting one of the big boys.
