Points deduction

I really don't get the sudden decision to go the administration route. Why not just put the club up for sale without the added risk to the football club?

Points deduction

https://torquayunited.com/an-update-for-supporters-2/

Following the announcement of the Club’s intention to enter administration, Torquay United was officially put up for sale on Friday 23rd February. Now that two weeks has passed since this, as of Thursday 7th March, we can confirm that the interim moratorium has been extended for a further 10 working days.

The Club has been in correspondence with a number of interested parties, all of whom have previously been issued Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Any interested parties that have progressed to the next stage of the process have now been granted access to the data room, to advance their interest in acquiring the Club, with talks continuing to progress with these various parties

Dillon was on the bench today for Wealdstone at York. He didn't get any minutes today.

Finances

Average home attendences for this season (so far) and the last two seasons is about 2,500.

An extra 1,000 on each gate would mean at least 3,500 for each home game for the rest of the season.

Farnborough v Torquay United Tue 20TH

MellowYellow wrote: 21 Feb 2024, 12:00 Some quotes from Farnborough manager Spencer Day in post match interview:

Torquay: "a fabulous club"; "a very big, big, club"; "big time, pro-time club"; "Torquay have got some fabulous players", "a really good side", "they have got so much quality"; "a really, really strong side".

Always good to have someone taking a look from the outside in.
By saying the opposition side are a really good side with fabulous players, he is justifying why his side did not win or even score a goal. If he had said Torquay were rubbish or only average, people would ask him why Farnborough didn't win. Manager talk. Take it with a pinch of salt.
