Here’s an effective form of protest.
Don’t go
I GUARANTEE THIS WILL BE MORE EFFECTIVE THAN ANY OTHER OPTIONS MENTIONED.
Wouldn’t it be something if the attendance was zero?
I bet this has never happened
Torquay could be a world record setter if it’s never happened.
Expecting to get hammered for saying this so bring it on

Maidstone v Torquay United TUE 6th Feb
My friend United 62
It sounds like you are pretty angry and poised to “get” into it with the Maidstone fans. I seriously doubt that the majority of Maidstone faithful would think this tragedy is funny.
Our team is terrible, the management and leadership worse.
Maidstone are doing well and we are jealous of their success….Pretty much the only bright thing in this season has been the continued support of guys like you who show up. please dont allow your emotions get the better of you while you’re up there. It will hurt you, it will hurt the reputation of the club, and will be milked, for all is worth by the ownership to show how it’s impossible to deal with Torquay fans. Please don’t give them that option

Robert Kraft is still “pals” with Bill Belichick, a guy who led the Patriots to 6 Super Bowls. Arguably consider the GOAT OF ALL NFL coaches
He still fired him
He said he hated doing it but he had to think about what’s best for the Patriots.
Nobody is immune from this in sports unless there is something else going on

Brucie/culmstock gull,
I would’ve agreed with you about a year ago that this was Johnson‘s fault, I respectfully cannot agree with you now.
It’s Mr. Edwards was doing his job. He would’ve told Mr. Osborne (someone who openly admits he knows nothing about football, nor cares) “this guys got to go.”
Mr. Edwards didn’t do his job or if he did, he wasn’t listened to. At that point
and from there after moving forward the responsibility rests ENTIRELY on them. Please don’t let them off the hook. They are the problem.

Edwards
This man must have the easiest job in football. In the middle of this disaster, his name is not even brought up or mentioned. Isn’t he supposed to be the one who knows football and business?
As I head back to the US dejected after watching one of the worst footballing performances in my life, all I can suggest is for the TUST to demand a meeting with Osborne and/or Edwards and if that fails take out a page in the local paper with a consensus statement that enumerates that efforts made by the fans to find out what is going on and Osbornes refusal to do so. Apply by all means possible pressure where it counts….IN THE LONGTERM…on Mr Osborne or the elusive Mr Edwards

Torquay United v St. Albans - 03rd February 2024.
So in summary
-the club is not self-sustainable financially
-the region does not produce quality players
-players/managers from elsewhere are not willing to come to Torbay
-there is no interest in the community in moving the stadium to create a financially sustainable business
-the present owner does not understand/like football
/is sick of losing money/wants to get the freehold to the stadium so that he can build on it, scrap the club, and move on
Is that a fair summary of the status of TUFC?

Though after traveling close to 5000 miles, I’m hoping the lads can pull of a win.

Hey Jim Parker
Hey Mr Parker
You planning on manning up and doing another interview with Mr Osborne to follow up on your previous interview with “Petrolhead” or are you done now?
If you don’t have the guts to ask some real questions,
Would you mind if Dave Thomas got a chance?
Hey Mr Osborne, you wanna man up
and chat with Mr Thomas?

Clark Osborne/Jim Parker Interview
After reading Brewers Boys post above I got to musing into their “in depth”conversations.
Phone Conversation
Mr Osborne: Hi Gary.
Gary: Hello Mr Osborne.
Mr Osborne: Things good there?
Gary: All good except we have the wrong sort of fans.
Mr Osborne: Quote right Gary. You tell ‘em whose boss.
Gary: Any questions for me?
Mr Osborne: Nope.
Gary: I’m gonna keep getting payed no matter what right?
Mr Osborne: Yup
Gary: Cool
Mr Osborne: Any questions for me?
Gary: Nope
Mr Osborne: Good. Bye
