I would agree with all the above with the exception of the Sunderland loanee, he runs around and tries but with no end product (goals). A bit of a headless chicken, reminds me of Keating.Teigngull wrote: ↑02 Jul 2021, 15:57 Whitfield - crocked
Cameron- crocked but cannot deny him his move
Nemane - crocked, do we have another opi on our hands
Covolan - cannot deny him a move to the EFL
Waters - not consistent enough
Buse - not good enough despite 110% commitment from him
Macdonald- a fairly decent no' 2 keeper, plenty more of them out there though
Little - will he or wont he ? Not really arsed tbh, hasn't set the world alight whilst hes been here.
Andrews- needs to be fitter
Moxey - centre half cover
Wright - worth persisting with for his experience @ this level
Lemonheigh Evans - my poy
Wynter - class act
Randell- will be a huge miss this year
Sherring - as Randell
Boden - we can do better than him
Kimpioka - may be worth another go
Dont know about anything of the 2 young first year pro's let go to comment.
Gary knows what he wants & it looks as if CO is backing him so let's all see.

I said that Wright would not feature but he was recalled partly to appease the fans. He was not 100% fit. All credit to the medical staff who got him as fit as possible. He certainly showed
what we had been missing by scoring within 30 seconds against Notts County, scoring another in an excellent performance. Against Hartlepool, unsurprisingly he did not look as sharp. IF he stays fit, he will be our top scorer next season.

Gary tried to pay Davis off at Christmas, when it was apparent that he would not play again this season. It maybe he never plays again with the injury he had.
Davis wanted paying in full, which he was entitled to and was in his contract. Unfortunately, it did not help the Club. We wish Davis well in his career, which may now be management.

Are some Referees Corrupt?
The two disallowed goals were both awful decisions. That combined with other key moments led to an overall sub standard performance. This referee was the top marked in this League over the season. It was his first at this level but he had been at the lower level (Taunton level) for FIFTEEN years.
Which tells you, he is s slow learner despite appearing to do well this season. A leopard does not change his spots!!
He has been promoted (unlike us), so yes he does not not give a f*** about getting things wrong. He would have been assessed but, the observer would only be able to "advise" and comment on application of law. Observers do not criticise decisions but may say "If you adopted a wider position, you would have a better view". They would NEVER say you got it wrong.
In short, NOTHING is going to happen to the referee, no inquiry, sanction, just maybe a poor assessment but that means nothing. He will not be at Plainmoor next season but may be at Exeter at some point.

Clarke Osborne ( episode 912 )
Breed was the most unlikely CEO any Club has ever had. His ill fitting suits told the story, he was a passionate fan but lacked any business sense. indeed any sense.
I recall he went to the Potteries to meet Smurthwaite, the Port Vale Chairman about him buying the Club. Breed turned up looking like he was homeless, unshaven and scruffy. Needless to say Smurthwaite was not interested after meeting him.
I did like his commentary on BBC Radio Devon, very direct and did not mince his words.
He eventually threw his toys out of the pram and is never seen st Plainmoor now.

Playoff Final Vs Hartlepool at Ashton Gate
When I use to go to Bristol City, I parked just past Ashton Court. Turn off M5 at Gordano Services, take the first right and continue up to cross roads, turn left on to main road and follow your nose through Long Ashton. At the bottom of the road, Ashton Court is on your left. There use to be plenty of parking. Just a ten minute walk to the ground....and easy for a quick departure.

I did better than that, I cancelled it the same time as ordering it. the guy was very helpful.chunkygull wrote: ↑15 Jun 2021, 16:08 Yeah, me too. But you have to cancel it the day after you order or you will get billed for two months.

Last week I purchased BT Sports for one month to watch both semi finals and final. The cost was £27 which is a snip considering I have it for a month and have already had my moneys worth!
