When it happened last time the Secretary ( the one responsible) was sacked. I remember it was Anne, who lived in Brixham. Heads should roll again!hector wrote: ↑12 Apr 2024, 19:22 I have a feeling it was in the Paul Buckle era and possibly involved Jake Robinson. I think Bill Phillips was meant to be involved somehow - perhaps he was the one running up the side of the pitch trying to stop the substitution. As it happened, it didn’t prevent us reaching the play-offs but possibly dropped us down a place.

Dartford will be relegated if they fail to beat Yeovil (away) tomorrow.. ......that will leave just one other from Hemel, Truro, Eastbourne Taunton and us.
My prediction is the current bottom four will be the teams to go.

Bath City v Torquay United Sat 13th April 3pm
A point at Twerton would be a massive bonus. Bath have improved through the season and a manager, who should be our next boss.
Bath 1 Torquay 1
Bath 1 Torquay 1

Better you channel your thoughts on what WE can achieve and not others, which we can not influence.standupsitdown wrote: ↑10 Apr 2024, 20:30 A couple of thoughts:
Slough, who have nothing to play for, have a big role in deciding relegation.
If Hemel beat Slough on Saturday then they are pretty much safe but if Hemel lose or draw their final game at Taunton could be a decider for both.
If Taunton beat or draw with Slough tomorrow and both Torquay and Taunton lose our difficult away games on Saturday, Taunton will only be 3 or 5 points behind us going into our game with them on Tuesday. If Taunton beat us then it is out of our hands as a win or draw v Weston two days later would put them ahead of us going into the last day. A draw with Taunton and a win v Havant would however keep us above them.
If Taunton lose to Slough tomorrow and both Torquay and Taunton lose our difficult away games on Saturday, Taunton will be 6 points behind us going into our game with them on Tuesday and a draw in that game would see us safe.
A point at Bath would put us on 49, meaning that Taunton would need to get a result from Slough or we would be seven points ahead of them with a better GD.

Why be concerned about Taunton?...They are six points behind us with a worse goal difference, with two games in hand - I would be surprised if they overtook us.
The current bottom four, look like the teams for the drop;
Dartford
Taunton
Havant & Waterlooville
Dover

Sounds like George Edwards is part of the preferred bid.
After Osborne, that is the worst case scenario......he is Osborones "yes man".....who knows he is probably still telling him what to do. We need a clean break from these parasites.

Taunton 0-0
Dartford leading 1-0 at half time.
We need Worthing and Braintree to help us in the second half.

Truro v Torquay to be played at Meadow Park, Gloucester
Well, I take that. The only downside is not keeping a clean sheet but three priceless points.
Archer was given Man of the match by Truro, that sums up their frustration tonight.
Well played lads, a point at Bath would be a bonus but they are going for the playoffs and present a stern test on Saturday.
Attendance tonight was 384....and most of those were wearing Yellow.

Unlike us, Truro have a reserve side, how many are capable of playing at NLS level, I do not know.
I shall be looking at their team to compare with last week's and those selected for this week's.

And one reason we should sack the goalkeeper coach, who is just taking a wage for no tangible input.
