FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round
Just caught up with this... yes it really shows the problems we have in trying to get the Covid response correct. I am off to Cray Wanderers on Wednesday to see my home team Bognor Regis Town play a league game. Really sad I could not go to the same ground.. sit in the same seat and watch the boys in yellow play.Griff1n wrote: ↑18 Oct 2020, 20:46 On Saturday October, 10 th, the Gulls played at Bromley and as we know, being elite clubs, no fans were allowed in to watch the game. On Sunday, 11th October, non-elite side Cray Wandereres played at home at the same ground and this time their fans were allowed to watch. This article in the NYTimes explains where we’re at:-

Southampton Gull wrote: ↑18 Oct 2020, 09:35 I think we're being a little harsh. They listened to us when we asked for some half time content, not only that but they have a short after match results catch up. The commentary team are primarily radio hosts, give them a chance. Personally I thought they were very praising of Dover and Chesterfield before that. It's not Sky Sports with an unlimited budget. For me the £9 cost is a huge saving on a matchday experience that normally runs into three figures and I'm sure other exiles are enjoying the chance to see the action live.
Give them a chance guys and gals.
Good sensible posting Southampton Gull. Thank you.

Having read the comments criticising the commentary team, I would just like to add that commentating on life sport is not easy.
Motty and co make it look easy.
Perhaps those who are not happy with the present regime might want to contact the club and offer their services and we can all see how it should be done?.... just a thought....
