Good to see Koszela given another opportunity when we needed a goal on Saturday! Oh no my mistake! We don’t bring on an enthusiastic young striker who we are paying full time wages to each week to see if he can offer something a little different and maybe nick the points.
Decided to have a little look at the reasons behind Johnson leaving Cheltenham a little earlier. Wow! Deja vu is the phrase I believe! Have a read why don’t you?

Agree with Dawlishmatt on this one. One swallow doesn’t make a summer! The real problem is Johnson’s inability to recruit quality. Duku and Cundy are prime examples of this. Of course it could be a lack of funds but if that is the case, get the youngsters involved. They cannot do any worse. Stop wasting money on shit players just in case one turns out to be ok.

Didn’t see Saturday’s debacle but did watch the Wrexham game a few weeks ago. How we kept a clean sheet that night I’ll never know and Cundy was at the heart of every thing bad. I clearly remember 2 really bad mistakes that should have cost us points.

Not the best game I’ve seen at Plainmoor and think we made very hard work of beating a very average Wrexham side. Couldn’t get near them from set pieces and they should have scored when Cundy or Cameron (can’t remember which) presented them with a one on one following some shocking control on the edge of the box. Much better second half and a very neat finish to reward Liam Davis’ attacking burst into the box. The save from McDonald was excellent but curious how they nearly score after a flick on from a goalkeepers punt upfield, into the wind,when our keeper can’t get the ball over the halfway line! Despite all this went home happy and confident we can get a result up at Halifax on Saturday.

i just don’t understand the tactic of inaccurate long balls balls to a striker who can’t hold the ball up. Jamie Reid scores some great goals but he is far too easy to mark when playing as a target man.

Except for the red card challenge I don’t think BW were a dirty team. They were however huge and we need to toughen up. Jamie Reid really struggled to hold the ball up under pressure and we stood off there attacking players way too much in the first half.. Lots of talent in the middle of the park but no Sean Joyce. Much as I like Frank Vincent, he looks vulnerable at left back as well. Great result all the same and two very nice goals. COYY

12-1 will feel like a very good price if we win the league. Similarly 25-1 would feel like a crap price if we don’t as there’s no return anyway! I think Torquay (and Stockport) will be right up there and £120 to spend on a promotion party seems like a great incentive to spend a tenner.

Ran on the pitch after beating Southend to gain promotion to league1. I’ve still got Tony Bedeau’s shirt as a bonus for doing so. No shirts for those that stayed on the terraces that day!
