I always glance through this thread - it's useful. Sort of confirms the feeling from other reports - Robbie Cundy has picked himself up after a very dodgy indeed spell and extremely well done him ! And Joe Lewis getting more game time is doing well.
Lucas CC - now he's off the roundabout - perhaps that's better. I hope he maintains this improvement.
And plaudits to you 275 . . .

Interesting post Matt but '"Gary Johnson has to take the blame as he seems unable to motivate the team" I like better as " Gary Johnson has to take SOME OF the blame as he SOMETIMES seems unable to motivate the team".
Repeatedly blaming the Players earlier as 'not good enough at this level' is bad form IMO along with rotating Goalies and the Keating / Dickson saga.
I'm sure we can hold mid-table - MMMMmmmmm

Thanks Howdid - insight . . .
Let's hope GJ will pull us through and stay for some more years, but we can't ignore it - there's been a few abrupt ends to his tenures as a Manager.

Gary Johnson is only 64 and no doubt learning every day like us all ![Hmm :-/](./images/smilies/arf.gif)
End of November I posted - "I'm a GJ fan but I noticed GJ commenting that some Players were not good enough at this level a few weeks ago and I was surprised. I wonder if he has lost the Players a little with all these implied changes and the Keating / Goalie issue. I agree GJ is the greatest but there's been a few abrupt ends to his tenures as a Manager . . . ."
After 7 defeats in a row it was good to see GJ, unsurprisingly, more positive yesterday, commenting that he knew that "we had that performance in us". ^.^ I prefer to hear GJ keeping behind the Players as much as possible, week in and week out.
I was at yesterday's game in the Family Stand and could see that we could have been 2 or 3 down long before we scored, but I was chuffed by the way the Players grew as the game went on - maybe the Woking factor ? Using his experience, perhaps GJ has got the Players back now ? Certainly 100% determination was evident yesterday.

It's extremely rude to describe Players as sh1t.
Do you think that helps the Player or the Club ?
Please restrain yourself . . . .

Phil - "Why does he keep swapping the goalies? What does Cundy have to do to get dropped? What does he keep trying 3-5-2 when it never works? What has Keating done?" Agreed
Reidy28 - "Our fans seem to think he’s immune from hate". Well I hope GJ is IMMUNE from that and if you think there's any place for 'hate' in such a discussion you need to go away.
If you HATE GJ you need to look at yourself . . . .

Form falling apart ? . . . . Sadly since the time we were all so chuffed by the arrival of Janneh.
I'm a GJ fan but I noticed him commenting that some Players were not good enough at this level a few weeks ago and I was surprised. I wonder if he has lost the Players a little with all these implied changes and the Keating / Goalie issue. I agree GJ is the greatest but there's been a few abrupt ends to his tenures as a Manager so we musn't take stuff for granted. Maybe a dramatic gesture of renewal from GJ would help e.g. whipping that beard off !
4 defeats in a row is gruesome but GJ can sort it out with the Fans behind the Team and GJ, and GJ behind his Players in his usual way. I'm hoping to see some games over Christmas so I hope things look up soon !!
Just seen that GJ video posted - probably the same as on Devon Radio yesterday - GJ sounded miffed but positive enough. GLA

Young Duane Darby is 46 now - good luck to him at Redditch
"Former Doncaster Rovers, Hull City, Notts County and Torquay United striker Duane Darby is the new manager of BetVictor Southern League strugglers Redditch United. The 46-year-old ex-Cradley and Bromsgrove Rovers boss, pictured, was appointed on Wednesday, 24 hours after the departure of his predecessor Ian King from the Trico Stadium."

Dawlish Matt - you are posting loopy style. Calm down.
The Gulls can still go up - even as Champions - early days.
Yessssss !
Stay behind the Manager and the Team.
Just two league defeats and you fall apart.
(I see Steve Cooper is your favourite - FWIW I know Steve quite well.)
