Because young man, a hell of a lot of stuff posted on this site needs some sort of factual spin on it instead if the moronic second guessing of GJ's mind set .
If Bodens contract, or any other player we'd have known .Yes I think our season is done & dusted but nowhere have I mentioned that I don't want us to prevail , it's just that I feel our winning mentality has deserted us & we seem to be scratching around & hoping to find that extra bit of luck needed to get through this play off campaign, it might work for one game ( I have my reservations ) but two NO CHANCE.
I stand to be corrected & will take the the derision & under hand humour if & when it comes.
I have the feeling it wont come

I would've thought like most pro football contracts, the deal for Boden, Sherring, Randell et al runs til the 30 june.
Unless theres been a complete feck up by the administrative dept of the club.

Dont see why it matters who we're playing, home fans only & only bout 1500 available.DerekDawkinsJnr wrote: ↑01 Jun 2021, 13:31 We won't get announcements about tickets until we know who we're playing I expect. Monday/Tuesday next week I reckon is when they'll be on sale.
You'll all he pleased I won't be taking up the option of securing mine as I know our season is done & dusted.
Absolutely no chance of winning the playoffs, we've forgotten how to win !!

Here here, standupsitdown wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 15:54 I hope it is an advantage to us that as we are safely in second we don't have a competitive game for three weeks while all the other contenders have one next week and whoever we play on 12th June will have also been involved in a play off the week before.
Time to get players fit and prepared, plus less risk of new injuries or suspensions.
Cameron, Whitfield, Wright, back fit & raring to go & I might just have a change of heart in thinking we could actually do it.
Here's hoping

No bottle at home to Bromley & no bottle at home to Barnet & guess what a home semi final !
Christ you need to take your rose tinted spectacles off SNW - look at the facts, we cannot put the opposition to bed at plainmoor ( yeovil at home excluded ), a fortress it isnt , not very good for a team trying to win promotion.
Like I said, I sincerely hope to be proved wrong, but after 43 years of supporting the gulls, i don't hold out much hope.

Of course I want us to do well.
But I just cant see it
NOTTS COUNTY VS STOCKPORT COUNTY final
STOCKPORT WIN
NOTTS to lose for the 2nd year running ( a la Cambridge '08 & '09 )
But I'd gladly be proved wrong, sorry to say we dont have the bottle to play under pressure, far to many crocks in the team & baring 1st choice 11 not enough strength in depth.
So sorry but that's the way I see it, not the way I want it

Play Offs - Hopefully wont be relevant
Got to win the semi final first & on current form that looks highly unlikely.
A step to far for this bunch if chocolate soldiers I'm afraid.
Time for a clear out & bring in players that know the national league- horses for courses-
That's the reality of the situation

Just how good has Asa Hall been this season?
Without looking it up & I stand to be corrected, wasnt Asa with GJ at Cheltenham ? If so he knows how to get the best out of him.
Let's not count our chickens yet, still 4 mighty performances needed , a dodgy injury or a daft red card ( al la Kings Lynn ) could yet play a significant role in this season yet !
This is Torquay United after all, weve never done things the easy way !!

Why does Sir Gary overlook Olaf Koszela?
Because hes inexperienced & clearly not good enough.
GJ is the manager so who are we to question him ? His record so far is exemplary.

Taking The Knee
Black, white, yellow, purple green or whatever colour your skin is does not matter a hoot, wer'e all brought into this world totally innocent but there are those that will intentionally brain wash you with their ideas & motives & if your subjected to it long enough it will become the 'norm' .
Black lives matter, white lives matter, EVERY LIFE MATTERS in my book, it's like your football team , it's in you , you're died in the wool & you cant chop & change when it suits, its impossible.
Tolerance is key to a happy world, live & let live, have your opinion but accept others may not agree, christ I am a Gull in a family of Grecians, the black sheep ( sorry ,is that a racist comment ?) of the family , but in my eyes it makes me different, not racist or disruptive or left or right or whatever political spin people want to tag me with, JUST DIFFERENT.
have a great Christmas everyone & a productive happy new year, wer'e all yellows on this forum even if you profess differently ( otherwise why take the time to post on here ) TUFC is in our blood, god, sometimes over the last 42 years or so its rankled with me , my choice of team, yes it was MY CHOICE MY DREAM MY TEAM
come on you yellows
All the best everyone & to GJ & the boys thank you for keeping the dream alive.

Absolutely should we be appealing that red card, shocking decision by the referee, no inten, no malice, just a genuine attempt to win the ball.
Just another thought, we were bound to be off the pace at some stage & rule no'1is dont lose, mission accomplished. Point gained.
Onwards & upward to tues.
