Ref = Crap, odd decisions, and a lack of control, or perhaps over control... not sure... but crap.
Tranmere the better team and even with 10 looked dangerous, apart from one scuff shot that we had that was cleared off the line, we lacked substance and cohesion up front.
I will be there against Aldershot, a great spirit from all the players, like another forum member pointed out... we would have lost that game comfortably last season.
Point gained...

And who says my opinions are wrong?? YOU!! HAHAHAHAHAHAtomogull wrote: ↑03 Aug 2017, 22:50 What ??? Jordan Lee's 'strength is almost null' - what a load of rubbish. You watch a different game to me - I wonder just how much you understand football. I see you're back on here grunting - do you ever post anything positive about TUFC? Gawd - we need supporters like you - not !! Oh - and before you say it. Yes, I know you're entitled to post your views ..... even if they are sooooo wrong !!
I don't profess to being any sort of football guru, but I do watch an awful lot of games.
We can differ on opinion that is surely what makes for a healthy fans forum.
Jordan Lee is superb going forward down the wing but IMO weak in defence.

Liam Davis New Left Back
Whilst I agree in part that Lee has a better pedigree and far greater potential, his tackling is suspect and in fact his strength is almost null. Truthfully I don't think either will suffice at left back against the pro's of Tranmere.

He needs to be with Clarke, Davis and Gowling all struggling with niggles.
Still we moan when the team is too inexperienced and then we moan when the old blokes get injured... Lose, Lose...
Don;t worry we have Chaney at left back?!?!?!?! LOL

Probably, so two of the geriatrics signed have injuries or niggles... nice one Kevin!

Rory Fallon
In this rare instance, I agree.Ray Johnstone wrote: ↑29 Jul 2017, 07:07 Nine pages of arguments about a new signing. I think you should all put your efforts into supporting Mr Fallon and the team in general.
I recall reading an e-mail which scorned a group of TUFC supporters for singing his name when substituted on in a recent pre-season friendly. Can you believe it? It reminds me of when Barrow signed an aged Lee McEvilly. Some of the nitwits who sit around me in the recently renamed Brian Arrowsmith Main Stand had made their minds up before a ball had been kicked. It creates a terrible atmosphere at the club in my opinion.

New Stadium
Take note, no agreement with the local authority is in place yet and I do believe this is someway off. At the moment he (GI) is bankrolling TUFC even if his input is mediocre. Lets focus (for now) on the football.SenorDingDong wrote: ↑29 Jul 2017, 14:33 Furthermore he steadfastly refuses to comment upon his history unless he's pushed very hard - i.e Swindon speedway, and even when he does comment it's very suspicious and doesn't feel people full of confidence. Not once has he given us a reason or stated why his numerous other stadium ventures have failed and why we should trust him with our club, regardless of the largely positive behind the scenes actions of this summer.

It may very well be BUT the fans are quite obviously from other areas of which some would be Birkenhead.lucy6lucy wrote: ↑29 Jul 2017, 20:03 Reached new heights with you're page Raymond ( I am confused if it's a blog, thread, e-mail, message when you post).
Before anyone sees any offence from my part. I find it highly insensitive and utter joke that a barrow fan is now doing a match thread for Torquay. Are you seriously a wind up merchant or lead a sad life. Pathetic. Tranmere is actually in prenton.

Get over the poster, I think it is rather interesting that someone else would like to post so often on an opposition forum... anyway, who cares...
Back to the thread topic...
Despite our emphatic display against a totally inept Truro team, 3-0 Tranmere :(:(:(:(:(:( might be more with Chaney at LB!
