Nine pages of arguments about a new signing. I think you should all put your efforts into supporting Mr Fallon and the team in general.
I recall reading an e-mail which scorned a group of TUFC supporters for singing his name when substituted on in a recent pre-season friendly. Can you believe it? It reminds me of when Barrow signed an aged Lee McEvilly. Some of the nitwits who sit around me in the recently renamed Brian Arrowsmith Main Stand had made their minds up before a ball had been kicked. It creates a terrible atmosphere at the club in my opinion.

Great result for the Gulls. TUFC are beginning to find their feet a week before the season commences.

Be careful what you send to this page, Fred. The locals get angry if an outsider sends too many e-mails.

Sounds like a great loan move going by the comments on this web site.

Barrow AFC
My e-mails are always relevant to the page heading. We have had trouble with users drifting off topic over on barrowafc.net ever since John Little left his position on the moderating team. It has become a chaotic mess and I certainly do not want to replicate the situation on this blog.
As this page is not related to TUFC, the webmaster should move it the site's general comments section in my opinion.

I see Mr Fallon still in the side. This reminds me of when Barrow signed a 33 year old and clearly past it Lee McEvilly. If the supporters can see the error, why can't the coaching team at TUFC?
Barrow play Notts Forest U23 at Holker Street this afternoon.

Good idea, CP Gull. If I were to rank the National League into three bands, it would be as follows:
Top third: Aldershot Town, Barrow, Dagenham & Redbridge, Eastleigh, Hartlepool United, Leyton Orient, Tranmere Rovers, Wrexham
Mid third: Boreham Wood, Chester, Ebbsfleet United, Gateshead, Macclesfield Town, Maidstone United, Sutton United, Woking
Bottom third: AFC Fylde, Bromley, Dover Athletic, Guiseley, FC Halifax Town, Maidenhead United, Solihull Moors, Torquay United

Barrow AFC are also looking to the continent to increase their potential player pool, Jeff. Experienced scout Paul Ogden has been the best signing the club have made during Paul Casson's reign at the club. He has identified players such as Jordan Williams and Richie Bennett from the lower leagues, whilst now imploring that the club begin to search Europe for talent. I don't know how to cut and paste one web site to another, but if you type in to your search engine "North West Evening Mail European contingent head to Barrow on trial", you will find an article detailing Ogden's ideas.
I suggest that Torquay United adopt a similar scouting strategy to attracting playing staff. Torquay's southerly location would assist with attracting players from France in my opinion.

We at Barrow had a similar problem when Brian Keen was our Chairman. The board of directors identified that the web page was outdated and poorly designed, but it took several years for a replacement to be launched. I know next to nothing about the web, but it seems projects like this a prone to overrunning their schedule.

Sounds like an improvement from the disappointing loss against Tiverton. It surprises me that TUFC are fielding such a weak bench at this time of the season, however.
Barrow held Crewe Alexandera to a 0-0 stalemate at Holker Street tonight. Another promising performance.

New Stadium
I have seen several photographs of Plainmoor on Google and it looks to be an adequate stadium for a club of Torquay's standing. A bizarre move from those in charge at Plainmoor.
Barrow's Texas based chairman Paul Casson has undertaken a feasibility study on the club's Holker Street home since taking control in 2014. He has since commissioned ambitious redevelopment plans, which include a stand by stand replacement of the stadium in order to generate a larger non matchday income. He has erected new floodlights this close season, and by 2025, after promotion to the Football League and the promised land of large ground development grants, Holker Street will be looking very different indeed. Maybe a scaled down version of Barrow's plan is the way forward for Torquay United?

Thank you for the messages of support. That was a vile passage to read. We have had trouble with malicious e-mails over on barrowafc.net ever since John Little resigned from his post as moderator. I hoped this blog would have had slightly tougher rules with regards to death wishes on other members.
It's Sunday today, so please take a few minutes to re read your bible, Gullpower. There is no comparison between Paul Cox and Judas.
